ParticipantI love that Regina defeats Zelena just because, we’ll, just because.
However, it’s the phrase “purveyor of the strongest light magic” that doesn’t sit right.
First, because I really wanted Blue, Tink, Glinda, or some other good guy to be the purveyor of the strongest light magic. Someone inherently good and light.
But also, when someone on this show is depicted as being the strongest in any type of magic, be it witch, sorcerer, wizard, fairy, light magic or dark, the very next season brings a new guy who has the strongest different kind of magic. And every magical whatever has always been defeated in some way by a different magical
Whatever. So it’s hard to tell what, or who really is the strongest. (Ok snow, we know, love is the strongest magic. Stop reminding us)[adrotate group="5"]Cinders
ParticipantGlinda said she gave Zelena the pendant to help focus her magic. Her magic has resided in the pendant ever since.
Didn’t Zelena learn anything from her sister? Never bring your real pendant to a fight. She shoulda worn a fake, and shoved the real one inside her boot. Plus, protection spell.Cinders
ParticipantTo me, the book represented a bit about Snow’s magic. To me, Snow has always had magic, but it’s very subtle magic. Her magic is that she makes things happen by believing. Snow summoned the book without knowing it. The look of confusion on Snow’s face, trying to figure it out why she found it when Emma said it wasn’t there. She knew something magical had just happened. But then she shrugged it off and said Emma didn’t want to find it She got the book because she instinctively knew that box needed to be searched again. Somehow, she knew she would find it. She will always find it.

ParticipantWhy do you suppose Regina looked a little sad when the fiery portal closed up? Or whatever that fiery circle was. She looked like she was sad or disappointed.

ParticipantWe’ll to me, this whole Snow curse is so watered down with curse, reverse curse, recourse, it’s hard to tell what the rules are. Dark Curse, reversed, recast, it’s as convoluted as that Family Tree.
Kinda reminds me of myself, as a young teen, stealing sips of my mom’s liquor and replacing it by adding water to the bottle. Sooner or later, that bottle didn’t pack the same punch. It was still whiskey, but watered down whiskey. Snow’s sacrifice, splitting hearts, kinda watered down that Dark curse into a dim curse. Kinda watered down the need for the savior. Or, maybe Regina’s the new savior. Which reminds me, I need a drink. Which thread has the best whiskey?Cinders
ParticipantI’m super happy that it was Regina who defeated Zelena. I never believed it would be Emma. Emma, who was just beginning to learn magic, defeating Zelena was always too much of a stretch for me to believe. Emma needed to come to storybrooke, learn magic, reunite the family, to enter season 4 as a force to be reckoned with. No way was she strong enough yet to defeat Zelena. Plus, this was a sister story, mostly a Regina season. It was always all about Regina’s transformation. To me, this whole season was about how can Regina learn to leave vengeance behind her, become genuinely good, but still defeat her sister. I genuinely LOVE that Regina now has light magic. She’s stronger than ever.
Plus, if Regina has prevented Rumple from killing Zelena, I’m happy that he got to drag her through the dirt. But really, Rumple does need more. She did kill Neal. That’s too big for him to let go of yet.May 2, 2014 at 9:36 pm in reply to: TVLine Preview with Ginny Goodwin: Baby Snowflake and the Finale #265626Cinders
ParticipantUnfortunately, I think they might also burn werewolves at the stake. I’m looking foreword to seeing how Riding Hood, Robin Hood, and Maid Marianne play into the finale.

ParticipantMaybe Emma is hangin with her son? Preparing a diaper bag for her baby brother? Setting up the car seat? Figuring out how to finish biulding the crib? Hook date?

ParticipantPoor Belle. She gets knocked down, but she gets up again. You’re never gonna keep her down.
That Zelena never misses a beat. She’s on a mission, and nothing’s gonna stop her. Boom! Zap! I kinda love her. Can’t wait till she’s gone.
Plus, I love the lights flickering when the baby’s being born. Magic is coming. But it does make me wonder, about Henry’s birth. Was that Emma’s magic that made the lights flicker? Or Henry’s?Cinders
ParticipantSo, she melts before? Or after? She gets the baby.
