That shot of David, realizing how high the tower was cracked me up. Seriously? I have to climb that? He’s not as young as he once was. Cool shots of him climbing though.
[adrotate group="5"]I see your point Phee, but here’s another possibility. Let’s say that Rumple and Zelena have been together for a year. Let’s speculate that something has happened to Bae in the missing year in enchanted forest. Let’s say Bae’s life is in danger. That unless Rumpel intercedes in some way Bae will be killed or taken to a new land where he will never find happiness.
Wouldn’t Rumple move worlds to find a way to get Neal out of EF and bring him to a safe place, storybrooke?Possibly Rumple is working not to free himself, but to free Bae.
I think Zelena controls Rumpel’s use of magic. But she does not control his mind. Rumple actually hers. Let’s suppose Rumple ended up in Oz, with Zelena in control. Rumple is now worlds away from his family. No magic, no power. No way to be reunited.
Zelena. Why on earth would Zelena want to put everyone back in Storybrooke? What’s there for her that she didn’t find in Enchanted Forest, or in Oz. she could have destroyed Regina in EF if that was her goal. And why on earth would she put her curse in jeopardy by allowing Emma to return?
Rumple. Rumple would want everyone back in Storybrooke. Rumple would want to be as close to Belle and Bae as possible, and now he is. Rumple would want the savior to return, and she has. Everyone is in place for the curse to be rebroken, and for Rumple to be reunited with Bae and Belle. ( except for that pesky where’s Neal deal)
It would be really easy for Rumple to control Zelenas actions. “Why did you choose Regina over me?” “Ah because she is stronger willed than you are, Dearie. You could never have cast that curse. You couldn’t even recast it today through blood magic, because it requires Regina’s blood, and you could never get Regina’s blood.” “Ha! You think I can’t recast that curse? Watch me!”
And now, here they all are, back together in Storybrooke. Rumple now has to get Zelena to reveal to his family that he is indeed alive, and that he is with her. He knows they will find him.
“You should never have brought me back.” Ah, but isn’t he exactly where he wants to be?
So, we have flash foreword to Alice and her daughter. But we also have flash back to Alice’s little sister, mother and father.
I’m going to be very disappointed if this story ends with Alice reading Alice In Wonderland to her daughter. Or, crazy Alice, in the asylum, years later as her daughter comes to visit her. A lingering question. Was the story true? Or imaginary?
So, what if the laws of magic were reversed? Jafar would certainly have to pay the price for reversing the laws. But would Ana? What if her death was reversed, and Ana got her wish to change the past?
I could picture Anastacia and Will back in her mother’s home in Sherwood. They’re standing in front of the mirror deciding whether they should jump or not. They decide NOT to jump this time, meaning they never went to Wonderland.
And the lived……..
It’s sad that Ana died. I would like Will to leave his bad memories of Wonderland behind and return to Storybrooke.
I want Jafar and Jabber to be defeated. I think Amara will die, but her elder sons will go on to lead happy lives.

Adam and Eddie should write a new story, new characters, and a new realm. 11 episodes, to be broadcast during OUAT winter hiatus as was originally intended.
Last Sunday, while she was at Granny’s diner, Zelena overheard Grumpy’s announcement that Regina was preparing a memory potion which would restore their memories of the lost year in Enchanted Forest. So why is Zelena hanging out with Snow, instead of trying to foil Regina’s memory potion?
Possibly David saw something in EF that she wants to erase from his memories forever before he gets ahold of Regina’s potion. Or, to replant those memories with new memories?
It would be foolish to kill him, but why not just bring in the monkeys to take him?
Assuming Charming doesn’t drink it, I sure hope Henry doesn’t come visit and take a sip.
I agree, Someone will knock on the door just as he’s about to drink, distract him, and Zelena’s plan will be interrupted, for now.
Regarding Johanna, possibly Snow spoke of her, and Zelena lied and said they had been friends in the EF.
