ParticipantI don’t think the scenery is that unusual. It seems like they use a different location for the town line/border often. The rocks probably look odd because there’s usually only a few or none at all when we see Storybrooke roads. Also, have we ever seen it snow in Storybrooke? I don’t recall ever seeing any before.
Aside from the fact that it doesn’t look like Little John is wearing his FTL clothes, the crossbow he’s holding is modern. If you look at a close up of the crossbow you can see that there’s a quiver attached to the front of it. And it looks like there may even be a scope as well. Either way it doesn’t look like a FTL crossbow.
I’m sure it’s my imagination, but is that an alien above the treetops to the left of the monkey?

ParticipantI’m guessing this is a new town line from EF to Storybrook Maine. Once Little John is dropped on the other side of the line, he will forget he ever saw the monkey. And he will have forgotten all of the past year as have everyone else who’s crossed the line.
Its also possible that many were cursed to return to storybrooke, and have no memory of the past year, but possibly others, like Little John cross after the curse and maybe they still have their memories intact?

ParticipantLooking foreword to seeing your fan art depicting Neal as a flying monkey. So random.

ParticipantBut, also, if Emma’s going to drive there, Storybrooke should be in the same place it was before……..unless……www has instructed Hook to follow the yellow brick road when he returns. I have no reason to believe that www is giving instructions to Hook, by the way.
I just don’t see how Emma could find her way if storybrooke was in Kansas instead of Maine.Cinders
ParticipantIn the picture of Little John and the flying monkey, The trees and boulders along the roadside don’t look at all like the road in Storybrooke. Even comparing them to the pic of WWOW entering the town line, the scenery is completely different. Looks like EF to me.
Possibly its EF entryway to Storybrooke?

ParticipantWorst words ever. The End. As with all great books, the last chapter is bitter sweet. I’m gonna be sad if this really is the last chapter. Wonderfully colorful storytelling Grimm. Thank you so much for posting this for us to enjoy.
Looking foreword to The Golden Man. 🙂Cinders
ParticipantFreaky gargoyle guy behind Charming is freaky. Plus, I like how they designed the bars on the windows to look like vines.

ParticipantHope he drops some good spoilers. And I hope Rapunzel’s story is more meaningful that Medusa’s was.

ParticipantI’m a bit intrigued in their comment that the book would play a part in the rest of season 3. There are oodles of ways that could play out, but here’s a theory.
In newly cursed Storybrooke, Miss Peridot (WWW) is in a position of power and trust. She’s lovely and everyone likes her. Possibly she’s the new Mayor or teacher. As the town is in an uproar wondering who cursed them, Henry is sitting at an outside picnic table reading The Book while pretending too do his homework. Miss Peridot walks by and they exchange a casual greeting. “Hi, Miss Peridot.” “Good afternoon, Henry. It’s nice to see you so attentive to your schoolwork.”
As Miss Peridot continues by, Henry glances at his book, then quickly glances up. “Miss Peridot!” “Yes Henry?” He sees Miss Peridot transformed to the Wicked Witch. “Never mind.”February 8, 2014 at 7:53 pm in reply to: A Fanfic: Somewhere over the Wild Waters. (A Wickedsisters story) #243865Cinders
ParticipantI love your stories Grimmsistr. They’re lovely. I don’t know the sites to follow fan fic, so yours is one of very few that I’ve read.
I love the emotions of your characters, and the colorful way you portray them.
Thank you for the honor or letting me visit your imagination. -
