ParticipantAs Eva was preparing seating arrangements for young Snows birthday celebration, she told the servants, “be sure to seat her as far away from the Duke as possible, for the Duchess’s sake.”
Which Duke and Duchess was she talking about, and who’s the “her”?

ParticipantWell if they do not remember the last year, do u guys think they may have forgotten Rumpel is dead? He could be the one they shouldn’t trust…
Rumple died before the curse sent them to EF for a year. They forgot tote year they spent in EF.

ParticipantSo nice to have a foundation to build on. Family and Home.
For some of our characters it’s easy to imagine Home. But for others it’s much more complex. I look forward to seeing how each character finds their way.Cinders
ParticipantAnd by the way, old acquaintances being trustworthy or not. I’m looking at you, Eva. How did you go from mean to super lovely so easily?

ParticipantI don’t think you can use the word “we” in that question.
But, here goes. When that question was raised in the article my first reaction was Neal, Hook, Regina and Rumple.why Rumple? His redemption will be tested, and often a person slips one step back, before they can take two steps foreward. In the long run, fully redeemed.
Why Regina? Same answer.
Why Hook? Same answer. Redemption is a journey, not a season.
Why Neal? Because I’ve had this feeling that roles might be reversed this second half. How much can Neal take before he snaps, breaks down, then stands back up tall and strong. Reversed roles would include Neal finding out his father is still alive somewhere and he might turn to blood magic, black magic, to find him. Neal knows ALOT! He’s seen ALOT. And I’d love to see him get dark for a few episodes. I honestly love the guy, but ther are HUGE gaps in his back story.
Don’t try to change my mind today, I change it myself every other day.PS. yeah Robin Hoods a thief too. Maybe he’s not above some shady deals.
So, yeah, I don’t trust any of them except the Charmings and Emma, and Belle. Basically, I don’t trust the writers to pull a fast one. Basically they all should be trusted. I just have my guard upCinders

ParticipantI honestly don’t get why anyone would theorize that A&E would resolve a love triangle by killing a character. Because each of the men in the triangle are excellent actors portraying complex characters.
You can put an end to the triangle with dialog. Any writer can end the triangle through Emma’s dialog with either Neal or Hook, or both. It’s easy. I love you. I care about you. I want you in my life. But I’m not in love with you.
Personally I think the character who’s story has played out is Snow. I know Ill get clobbered for saying so, but she’s had her happy ending. She has Charming. She’s made peace with Regina. She’s forgiven her. She made peace with her daughter and her daughter is safe. She brought her family together and made peace with them all. She taught her family many lessons. Hope. Compassion. Trust. Faith. She’s had a huge impact on our characters.
I know she’s about to have a new child, but maybe that’s not her happy ending. Emma was her happy ending. Charming was. Henry was. Adventure was. Charming could go on without her. But I don’t think she could go on without Charming.Cinders
ParticipantI forgot to add on the list above why there is no magic is why would the Witch take them from FTL to bring them to SB and bring magic too. If she wants to kill Regina or who ever I think by removing them from having magic you give you the edge.
Maybe she’s been searching for the dagger in EF. It’s not there, so she takes their memories so they don’t remember who she is, then takes them all back to Storybrooke to continue her search.

ParticipantAgree Cinders. A&E are pretty cagey sometimes, but I felt like their answer about Greg Mendel indicated a certain “who cares anymore” attitude from them. They forget they tweeted he was “rotting”? That Tink said there wasn’t enough of him left to find his body, implying he was eaten? More importantly though–why would they waste a question on HIM of all people? Then again, that’s happened before too that someone asked about some minor point or something in a lightening round
I think he’s a golden skeleton in Dead Man’s Cave, or Skull Rock, whatever. Never to see the light of day. Neverland is a ghost town I assume.

ParticipantPossibly, as well as Emma. It’s just a guess. Reading between the lines.
On the other hand, sometimes background stories can be told through other characters’ dialogue.
