ParticipantSeriously, sorry, but I really see her as always voicing Rumples positive traits that are overshadowed by his self doubt. She nurtures his goodness that is overshadowed by his dark side. She reminds him of his bravery when he tells us over and over that he’s a coward.
I know Belle will search for and find Rumple. In whatever state he’s in, if it’s negative, weak, doubting, dark, I hope she walks away. I hope she yells at him, scolds him and walks away. She’s tended to his doubts long enough. She’s been there for him. If he wants to be alone, then fine, I hope she walks away. “If you want me to believe in you, try believing in yourself.
If she finds him strong, loving and kind, then that’s different. But if he wants to venture off on another adventure alone, I hope she says “enough! I’m gone. I’m off on my own adventure. I may or may not want you when I’m done”.
It’s been a very long hiatus. And I’d just love to hear Belle scream her guts out at him. Maybe because I’m mad at Rumple for Belle. For leaving her crumpled in the middle of the street. Mad that she’s going back to Enchanted Forest, her fate sealed in a curse he helped create.
My favorite scene between the two of them was by the tree in the enchanted forest, after Rumple shot the arrow, but missed Robin Hood. Belle kissed him on the cheek, and he was flabbergasted. Belle walked away, peered over her shoulder and asked, “are you coming?” And Rumple picked up his bow and followed her. What I want see is Belle, walking away, peering over her shoulder and saying ” MY adventure is this way. Are you coming?” For her to lead the way, and Rumple to follow.

ParticipantPersonally, I think the character Belle has been lost, and has become Rumbelle.
I’d love to see just Belle. Her character was introduced by Rumple and she’s been hog tied to him ever since. Her dialog, her goals, her dreams, her visions, her future, all Rumbelle.
I’d love to see her tell Rumple that she’s fine by herself. I’d love to see her walk away from Rumbelle (but only if their endgame is to be together).
I want to see Belle become who she was in the beginning when we first met her. “No one decides my fate but me”.
I’d love to see her take a more meaningful journey by herself, find her inner Belle, and then return to Rumple as she once was. Outspoken, with a touch of Lacey’s spunk.
As she’s portrayed now, I have no connection to Belle other than as an extension of Rumple.Cinders
ParticipantI don’t get the feeling that he will be of much importance to our main story. I think he’s a one episode device to give us some insight to what Emma’s been up to over the last year in NYC. love interest, boss, coworker, whatever, I doubt we’ll see him again unless Emma returns to NYC in another season.
I think we’re overthinking this guy. He’s only been in one episode. And so far his only connection to Emma, or possibly Neal, is NYC.January 12, 2014 at 10:34 am in reply to: Mirror, Mirror on the Wall…Who Is The Fairest of Them All? #236586Cinders

ParticipantAbsolutely stunning costuming on all the characters, particularly the Enchanted Forest costumes. It’s Impossible to choose my favorite because each garment is a work of art. Award worthy to say the least.
Regina is my favorite character on the show, and the reason I watch. Her superb acting rises to a whole new level when supported by the brilliant make-up and consuming artists. The use of costumes, hair and make-up transitioning Regina from a teenager, to evil queen, to business woman is amazing.
I look forward to seeing the pics in this thread. The costumes on the show are amazing but the pics give you the opportunity to really look at all the small details. And oh, the jewelry!Cinders
ParticipantI understand the OutlawQueen shipping. I understand it completely. But Regina is far more complex than find a man = happy ending. Regina is so many things. Lover, fighter, dreamer, adventurer, businesswoman, mother, friend and foe. I hope her happy ending brings her so much more than a candyman on her arm.
I hope her journey to a happy ending brings her respect and empathy, forgiveness and allegence from those around her. I hope she’s invited to dinners at Granny’s, not because they feel sorry for her, but because they enjoy the pleasure of her company.
I hope her journey towards her happy ending is filled with both love and adventure. Half the fun of love is the adventure of finding it.
I hope Regina has many many more adventures before she’s ready for her happy ending.
I love Regina’s redemption, but to be honest, I already miss The Evil Queen.Cinders
ParticipantI was hoping that Lumiere is seen after the current curse sends everyone back to Enchanted Forest. I would love to see Belle back in what’s left of Rumple’s rather large estate. As she cleans Rumple’s things, still mourning him, she comes across his candelabra. As Belle polishes it, and lights it, suddenly, Lumiere is released and returns to human form. He reminds Belle that Rumple loves her, and gives her the news that Rumple is alive. Lumiere tells Belle that he can help her find him.

ParticipantI’m confused. Did we ever get confirmation as to whether Eion Bailey is returning?

ParticipantPicture young Rumple, on Neverland, asleep or crying under the tree. Rumple believed his father was going to leave him. In the next scene, his father casts him away and becomes Peter.
Did papa abandon little Rumple because that’s what Rumple believed would happen?
When older Rumplestiltzkin returned to Neverland, he feared Peter. I always thought that Rumple never believed in himself enough to believe he could defeat Peter Pan, so he never defeated him. Nederland was all about believing. Rumple didn’t believe his partners could defeat Peter either, so they never defeated him.
In Storybrooke, when Rumple was restricted from using his magic, when he had to truly trust and believe in his own strength, that’s when he was able to defeat Peter.Cinders
ParticipantI think Rump’s father created Neverland, a magical place. Rumple just helped put the evil in Pan. Malcolm was a scoundrel and a coward. In his own mind, Rumple added the word evil and it became real.
