Personally, I hope we DON’T find out who the author is. Not yet, anyway. I rather like there being common question that’s not easily answered and that runs throughout each season. And I love reading everyone’s theories.

Regardless of what the storyline would be surrounding the author or non-author, some would be satisfied, but many wouldn’t be.

Plus, I think it should be a story much bigger than Operation Mongoose, which I see as Regina’s I want a happy ending with a man story.

I think it should be Henry’s story, not Regina’s.

When they’re ready to give Henry a significant storyline, one which factors in why Peter had Henry’s picture long before Henry was born, I’ll be happy to know why Henry was given the book and who wrote it. When they’re ready to give Henry a future story, explain the prophecies that apply to him, I’ll be happy to learn who wrote the book and why it was found specificly for Henry. When they begin to explore, now that Henry is old enough to make some real choices for himself, whether he will chose to explore magic with his grandfather, or turn his back on magic as his father did, then I’ll be happy to learn who wrote the book and what lessons it was meant to teach Henry.

Thumbs down on Regina stroking the baby stroller. This is not gonna be a nice mommy and me moment.

Also, lets not forget that Anna knows much of Rumple’s plans with that hat. Further, Anna is immune from this curse, and is friends with Belle. Won’t Anna be surprised to find that sweet Belle is married to Rumple. Anna is unafraid of the wrath of Rumple because he is still bound by her dagger~command that he not harm her or Elsa. She wont be afraid to tell the truths she’s learned about Rumple.

There’s also the theory that Rumple is NOT against the residents of Storybrook. Rumple may have wanted Emma in the hat to protect her against a dangerous, cursed Hook. But, since Emma chose not to use the hat, Rumple had to go with plan B, which was to remove Hook’s heart, thereby making him immune from the curse, which would, in turn, save Emma from cursed Pirate Hook.

He needs the hat to save himself from the dagger, which is why he sucked up the fairies, but he may be depending on Emma, Elsa to save the town.

I wondered if that was one possibility of how Maleficent was brought back to life. Regina said that the underground cave sustains Maleficent in whatever form she’s in. And, since magic doesn’t disappear, it takes on another form (dust, ashes). Rumple could have easily sucked up Maleficent’s ashes into the hat.

I’m really hoping that somehow it’s implied that Neal may be responsible for releasing the magic from the hat. Like, Neal focusing his attention on the hat, and suddenly it begins to spin. And we spend the winter hiatus wondering if Neal is good magic, or bad.

So, Rumple thinks he’s bargained to keep himself, Belle and Henry safe from the curse. But this curse may have a far worse effect on him than on anyone.

While everyone else begins to act out their worst fears and lies, I think Belle will begin to learn some cold hard truths about Rumple. From Anna. Anna knows EVERYTHING, and isn’t afraid to speak the truth. And, most importantly, she’s not afraid of Rumple. He’s bound by her dagger-command that he can’t harm her. She’s gonna tell her old friend Belle EVERYTHING. The hat, the urn, the scorcerer.

So, while we see everyone harkening back to old grudges which have already been forgiven, Belle will be learning some cold hard truths about deceptions which might remain unforgiven long after this spell has been broken.

I want to see Regina. All Regina. Regina’s evil look if Marian wakes up. I want Robin to see Regina in all her evil glory. I want a Regina Rumple face-off. But mostly, I want to see Regina Hook snark with Regina becoming so angry she tries to rip out his heart.

Will Hook become dark too? Or, is he immune because he has no heart.

But mostly, I’m curious to see if they use the word ETERNITY to break the spell as they did in the original Snow Queen story.

I loved the final 10 minutes as the spell descended on the town. Loved Regina protecting Henry, and her final good bye to Robin. (But I hated that she still deeply believes that only Henry and Robin care about her.)

I particularly loved the scene with Mary and David holding hands as the glass entered them, and the looks on their faces changing from good to dark.

I REALLY hated Blue cowering behind the counter. Don’t these writers know that lots of us really believe in fairies? Even sneaky fairies? I would have loved it 10 times more if she had realized it was the hat, stood up, and sneaky-smiled as she was being sucked in.

I HATED the scene between Hook and Rumple. “You’re gonna be dead tomorrow.” Come on, really? Just a casual convo sitting on a bench. Their acting is better than that. I didn’t find it believable.

Also, I didn’t much like Belle going from helping the fairies save the whole town to letting her hubby close her up in the shop. She’s better than that, because heroes help save people. They don’t follow hubby to be shut away alone to save themselves while the rest of the town falls. I found that out of character for Belle especially after the episode where they built her up to be brave and heroic.
I’m afraid Belle, once again, took a moment to think about herself and put a friend in danger. First Anna, now Blue. And I know it’s Rumple’s fault, not hers, but still.

The whole Blackbeard/Arrendell story felt rushed. I liked the storyline, and that they brought Blackbeard into the story again, but it just felt rushed.

I love the storyline as a whole, and look forward to seeing where it leads. But, poor Keegolicious (Blue). Imagine getting the call that they FINALLY want you back on set, but, um, just for one scene, then in the hat you go till later in the year. Bye, Dearie, AGAIN.

This confuses me. Snow and Charming have always seen the best in each other–even when they couldn’t see it themselves. When Snow learned she had a dark spot, it was Charming who told her that she had the most beautiful perfect heart ever. “How they really feel about each other” should be true love…

“How they really feel about each other” is just Natalie’s wording, so I wouldn’t take it as the gospel for the show itself. As for Snow and Charming getting nasty at each other, I suspect it’ll be the occasional couple disagreements they’ve had amplified to the extreme. Just because you truly love each other doesn’t make it impossible to have the occasional critical thought about one another. Being subject to the Spell of Shattered Sight is surely not going to let them embrace the best of each other during this predicament.

Well no of course it’s not impossible to have a critical thought about one another. But Josh is suggesting that it gets nasty and he goes straight for the jugular. And when SQ performed the curse on Anna, Anna used her own personal trauma and memories of what Elsa did to her as kids (ignoring her). So I’m just wondering what is possibly so nasty that Charming and Snow are going to be that antagonistic to each other.

Possibly about parenting, and protecting your children. Charming might say Wow, I’m surprised you’re letting Emma hold the baby. You rarely let me hold him, and my son. Really, Charming? Well look what happened when you held your baby daughter. We didn’t see her again for 28 years. Really Snow? We would have had our family safe if you hadn’t persisted in your quarrels with Regina. You gave our daughters name to the Dark One!

You couldn’t even protect your own kingdom…fake Prince etc. Cora killer. Um, you took out my heart for a curse? That’s pretty bad. There’s lots of insults they can throw at each other.

It’s going to be sad, but funny at the same time.

Looks like a comedy. I think I’m gonna love it.
