ParticipantI’m thinking that the new type of storytelling is putting the fairy tale in our time. WWW has made her yellow brick road, and it leads to storybrooke. OZ is storybrooke.
I also think that whoever is on that stretcher, and whatever happened to them is what led Hook to search for Emma and Henry.
Emma is Dorothy. Storybrooke is OZ. WWW is wreaking havoc on Storybrooke and nothing is as it should be.
( I’m bored, and just making up stuff to pass the time.)

ParticipantI think my scenario of Neal under a sleeping curse would be sooooo dramatic, and I personally would love it, because I’m torn as to who her true love really is, and I think she is as well. It would be a huge storyline for Emma. But I’m afraid it would cause a shipping frenzy and the story would conclude in Henry waking Neal anyway.
I rather like the theory of someone being cursed into tin man, lion or scarecrow. As long as it’s not the kids. We’ve had a wooden boy and I don’t want poor Roland to become a lion, although it would be ironic, since his dad has a lion tattoo.

ParticipantBy the way, this would be a fun board game, kinda like Clue. I think it’s Neal……on a gurney……under a sleeping curse

Participanti thought it was interesting that Dr. Whale asks “Who did this to him?” Instead of what happened to him. I wonder what symptoms Whale is looking at.
Good questions. What did happen to gurney-man? Are we talking physical accident (missing limb, shot, other external evidence) or are we talking something more magical–like a curse. Because he’s asking “who did this” I think it’s probably a magical ailment.
So, first thought is…sleeping curse! But that wouldn’t lead to drama if it was Roland. The remedy is obvious and easy. True love from Robin. However, if that was Neal on the gurney, and he was under a sleeping curse, well now, that’s huge drama because with Rumple gone, there are only two possible solutions to awaken Neal and they live in New York.
This would also put Hook in quite a moral dilemma. Should he rescue his friend and potentially lose his love? Would TLK work this time? No memory, no true love. Is there still true love?
I’m going with Neal on the gurney under a sleeping curseCinders

ParticipantI’m pretty sure I must be a Oncer, because I keep watching Twitter to see who’s packing and boarding flights to Vancouver.

ParticipantLet’s assume Hook’s mission is to get Emma to remember her past and come save her family, meaning the Charmings.
If you were her family, mother or father, would you want your daughter to leave her happy life behind? Would you put your daughter and grandson’s life in peril to help you? If you had watched your grandson go through the trauma of Neverland, would you want him to come back knowing there is danger lurking in the form of WWW?
If you we’re Hook, or Neal, would you ask Emma and Henry to leave their happy life to come help you? I’m sure they’ve discussed the pros and cons.
This leads me to believe that it’s Emma’s entire family who’s in trouble, meaning Emma and Henry are also in danger.Cinders
ParticipantMy theory is that this writer is as confused as we are. That story makes no sense.

Participant1. I think that Hook and Neal are working together, and it’s Neal who asks Hook to look for Emma. Snowing can’t search for her because as Hook said, Emma’s family is in danger and need her.
We see that Emma goes to Neal’s apartment, and I think Neal wants Emma and Hook to search for something specific there. (Scroll? Potion?).2. But, when I watch the shorter promo of WWW crossing the Storybrooke town line, (storybrooke is cloaked for outsiders) I get the feeling she is opening a pathway for Emma to enter. She pauses briefly as she hears a car approaching, headlights brighten the Storybrooke sign, and then I assume she will disappear. If she sent Hook, which I doubt she did, he used her yellow brick road as his portal.

You know this is honestly one of my favorite things. They did these little gestures in the same episode. I mean, that’s how carefully they put these scenes together. In the same episode where in a matter of hours of knowing her, he’s able to recite her entire backstory, emotional issues and all without her saying anything. In the same episode where she calls him out on his past by just seeing his tattoo and knowing he has a vendetta against Rumple. In the same episode where the writers themselves said she didn’t like where this was going, she was falling in step with this guy way too easily and the last time she felt like that, she got burned. Tell me again how these two haven’t been set up as soulmates since their very first scenes together. You can’t write a well thought out and brilliantly crafted story by pandering to fan service. Hook and Emma have BEEN in the story for a season and a half now and they’ve been having these canon romantic moments since their very first adventure. Why would they take such care to add such small tiny details such as the ones above, if they only planned on keeping Hook around for a short time or if this was some relationship they didn’t plan on developing from the moment they wrote Hook into the show. I know these gestures seem small but, to me they’re a really huge deal b/c they purposely wrote it this way. And that is just a really encouraging thought.
I LOVE IT~
I had no idea they put these tiny little bits in the show. I never would have noticed such tiny details. Emma raising her eyebrow just like Hook does, sniffing, tapping. It’s brilliant directing, and excellent screen caps by you shippers. You amaze me by all the tiny gestures you notice. It’s really touching, and quite lovely how this show brings out such passion from it’s fans.
