It was Regina’s choice to use dark magic as a means to exact revenge on those she perceived to have wronged her. She wasn’t much different from Rumple. He was also a good man who was tempted by magic. Regina was offered two paths to solve her need to ease her boredom and anger. Tink advised her to choose love. Rumple advised her to choose dark magic. The choice was Regina’s. She chose to become a villain. In the end, she did redeem herself, as did Rumple. I suppose the difference might be that Rumple still considered himself a villain as he made his ultimate act of self sacrifice. But, the question remains, can villains ever get their happy ending?

If Rumple is dead, I think it’s safe to say that Regina, also a villain, will never see her happy ending.  But, if Rumple is alive, (in whatever state he’s in) I can’t wait to see where Regina’s journey to happiness takes her.

Now the withdrawals subside. Time to wrap gifts and start baking. Meanwhile, Twitter wars continue.

I change my mind daily as to where I think Rumple is.  In my head I keep hearing Rumple say  “Why, I’m exactly where I want to be”. So, all that time on Neverland, I think a wise old soul like Rumple had to have kept a bit of Squid ink or pixie dust for a rainy day. It was rainy when he left our world. All those enchanted things in his shop at his disposal whether he had magic or not. Rumple always has a way out.  I think he’s right back where he was before the original curse took him to Storybrook. In his dungeon cell, with his squid ink.

Lumiere is not a maid. He’s But he does like a butler. But he does like to get frisky with the maid (feather duster).  It was an enchantress who tuned him into a candlestick, but I suspect that this time it will be Rumple.
Lumiere  knew that Belle was going to break the Beast Curse, and kept cautioning the beast to curb his temper and be nice to Belle.
I hope Lumiere is uppity, a bit humorous, and super snarky when Rumples not listening.
I was hoping to see Lumiere in present day which would give me hope that not only is Rumple alive, but that there was still potential for Belle to break whatever might be left of the dark one curse. Flashbacks would be nice, but I’d prefer to see present ay Lumiere and Rumbelle.

Not a book recommendation, but if it’s in a city near you, I recommend going to see Disney On Ice.   Dress your little ones in Disney costumes and they will love it.  While you will sit back wanting to scream.   Scenes like 20 skaters each waving the flag of Rapunzel’s newfound kingdom make you want to scream “that’s the same symbol on Prince Phillip’s chest guard! Are they related?”  Rapunzel is coming!   (Sorry, I really love her)

Let’s assume that Rumple is NOT dead.  In an earlier episode, Regina visits Rumple in his dungeon prison cell as the curse is approaching.   Rumple wants Regina to tell him how it felt to kill her father.  He also tells her that because she killed her father, she now has a hole in her heart.  When Regina taunts him about being imprisoned, We hear Rumple say, as we’ve heard him say before, “I’m exactly where I want to be”.   I thought it was ironic that as Regina killed her father to enact the first curse, Rumple kills his father as the new curse is approaching. Does he now have a hole in his heart as she did? And in that dungeon prison cell, why does Rumple say, as we’ve heard before, “why, I’m exactly where I want to be”.  Why did they emphasize that to us again?   As the curse brings everyone back to Enchanted Forest is that where we will later see Rumple appear?  He knew the curse would come and he would be a man of wealth in Storybrook. He knew the curse would be broken. Did he also know a new curse would send them all back to Enchanted Forest? And is he now exactly where he wants to be?
