I like the idea of PP wanting Henry because of the yin yang magic potential he has. PP could be out for revenge against Rumple because he become the Shadow due to something Rumple did whether as a Lost Boy or the Dark One. For now I lean towards PP being out to destroy not only Rumple but the DO completely and to do that he needs Henry.
They could cast a older, baby-faced actor to play PP. He could look the part of a mid teen PP but have the acting chops to pull the role off.
As has been pointed out before, if PP wanted to destroy Rumple, why go to all the trouble to get the grandson when you have the son already in your possession? It like trading an important “chess piece” for a less important one.
It would depend on how PP wanted to destroy him and the nature of the revenge PP’s after. If he wanted emotional devastation Bae is the way to go but perhaps through Henry PP can destroy as in kill Rumple/the Dark One.
I can’t remember this- do PP and his boys know Bae is the DO’s son?
However much he loves Bae I think there are limits to what he will do for him. Magic has been shown to be Rumple’s security blanket, the first chance he has he restores his powers because not having magic makes him feel helpless and vulnerable.
That’s not a knock against the character his conflicting motivations are one of the things I find most interesting about him.[adrotate group="5"]chiannaParticipantI like the idea of PP wanting Henry because of the yin yang magic potential he has. chiannaParticipantIt a seems likely (so Snow and David have a storyline next season) that her darkening heart will be explored in Neverland as they search for Henry and find a way back to SB.
On the ship right now there’s a equal balance of optimists, realists and pessimists, Charming/Snow, Emma/Hook, Rumple/Regina respectively but if that balance changes things could get messy.

I think we’ll see a flashback to a deal where Rumple got squid ink in exchange for teaching Ursula how to take someone’s tongue/voice.
You’re probably right but I’m really starting to want a character who isn’t related to Rumple in any way. OUAT is like Six Degrees of Rumpelstiltskin.
chiannaParticipantI have wondered if the shadow is Henry. It causes all sorts of timeline issues but when has that ever stopped OUAT?
chiannaParticipantI don’t think she’s on the released character list but I’d like to see the Duchess. She never makes it into these adaptions and with her pig/baby confusion she could easily have a backstory involving the loss of a child.

I know it probably won’t happen, but I want a Blue Fairy centric. She’s like the only heavily recurring guest star that’s been around since the pilot who hasn’t gotten one. I want to know more about her.

This! If we don’t get a backstory on her in the very near future, I’m gonna assume there isn’t a story to tell. And I’d really love for her to have a cool backstory.
At the very least she has to be responsible for Henry’s book. She’s the only good magic user we’ve seen on the show those “final preparations” had to be something important.
I kinda want a time jump when the main cast return to SB. Have the first half of the season stay out of SB and when they get back the Charmings have been usurped by Philip, Aurora and Mulan as the ruling family.

I’m confused on the whole Home Office thing. They’re an “anti-magic” organization that is probably ultimately headed by some boy sitting in a tree-house hideout in Neverland like an adolescent Dr. Evil, who instead of petting his cat has Tinkerbelle at his side. Why would an anti-magic league work in concert with a magic mastermind? If Wendy is behind the formation of THO after Bae was taken, why should her organization work for the same people she’s trying to fight?
Perhaps she/they don’t know that PP is pulling the strings. I like the idea of PP sending some Lost Boys back to the world. Letting them grow up but still controlling them possibly via their shadows which remain in NL. Wendy sets up the HO (grandma) and a well connected man offers her further financing and the use of his connections in the US. So Wendy’s anti-magic brigade goes international. The American branch is controlled by a Lost Boy and by extension PP.
Emma and Henry’s adoption/lack of is suspicious. Gold can’t leave Storybrook so how did he get hold of Henry? How did Henry even get to SB? Gold can’t leave and no-one can get in. Little Emma would be snapped up even at three years old, if the story’s true about her first family. Third party involvment makes sense even if it’s not THO.
Very good point about Henry’s picture, if PP has future knowledge he should know when and where to find Henry but he plainly doesn’t.
ETA: Page 36 where did you come from 😕
chiannaParticipantSeconding Hook in street clothes.
Fairytales finding a way to happen in the present e.g. Ariel falling in love and trading her voice (Ariel/Hook with a side of Emma jealousy perhaps), Emma becoming the Swan Princess or Gold playing Merlin to Henry’s Arthur.
Regina and Emma sitting down and having a real talk about custody of Henry with no magic antics reversing it in the next episode. As unrealistic as it might be I want Emma and Regina to become friends.

There has to be a seer involved somewhere, there’s so many events that have to unfold exactly so.
If the goal is Henry then the ultimate plan could be to get rid of the Dark One altogether. As it is the DO is immortal, the vessel might die but the power finds a new host. Henry’s mother is the embodiment of true love and his father the son of the current Dark One. Bae was the catalyst in the past but in the present everything happens because of Henry.
There is one: Rumplestiltskin. A greater number of those events were orchestrated by him, using the power he gained from the Seer in the flashbacks of Manhattan, in order to get Regina to cast the Dark Curse that’d take him to The Land Without Magic, where he expected to find Bae. What’s in question here is if there is an even bigger puppet master than him, putting his/her own touches in the greater scheme like Rumple losing Bae, Bae meeting Emma and Emma giving birth to Bae’s son Henry.
Yes that’s my point, if there’s a bigger puppet master out there then they too need to have someway to know how events have to unfold. Making sure Henry is born has too many possible variations for them not to have that knowledge.
