ChrisParticipant
It was really quite interesting to see Emma use magic knowingly for the first time. I also like your ideas of the price being Henry. What if she looses him to magic? Henry was very interested in the whole matter when Regina prepared the sleeping curse in “Into the Deep”, now with his mothers both tampering around with the magical arts, he could easily become “addicted” to it too.
It also made me wonder, if magic effects Emma’s power of feeling if someone is lying. We already know it is being interrupted by emotion, maybe magic messes it up even more. Otherwise, she should have known that Regina was telling the truth. What do you think?

ChrisParticipantWell he doesn’t necessarily have to be dead, because then that would be cruel 😛
Now that would make for interesting viewing. I wonder how Rumple would react if he found out that all his efforts have been in vain. But then again, he already destroyed one world, so one more or less… 😈

ChrisParticipantHe could also be a blend of the White Rabbit and the March Hare.
I rewatched the episode recently and saw that there are some tea cups and a kettle in his kitchen together with the “Hatter” sign. The March Hare was the one having the tea party with the Mad Hatter in Wonderland. His behavior in “Tallahassee” also showed some signs of being slightly crazy. He also seems to collect microphones and loudspeakers, which put him back to the role of the White Rabbit as the Queen of Hearts herald. Another Wonderland clue may be the key behind his little bowling statue and the somewhat key shaped ornaments on his desk.
As so many others, I theorized that it was Neal’s heart in the box. We know now, that a heart can be put back in. What if August traded Neal his heart for leaving Emma. When August opens his box, there seems to be a faint red glow on his hand, of course that could just be the lighting of the scene.
This could also be the reason for the total transformation we see in him from a petty thief in “Tallahassee” to his new self in “Broken”. When he got his heart back he became whole again and turned his life around. He also asked August to send word when Emma had fullfilled her destiny of breaking the curse so he could perhaps come back to his love. Now a complete man once more.- You know what the issue is with this world. Everyone wants a magical solution for their problems, and everyone refuses to believe in magic.” - Jefferson
ChrisParticipantWasn’t Blue called the Original Power in “The Return”?
Perhaps she doesn’t need the magic diamonds at all and and only the “lesser” fairies need the magic of fairy dust. Wouldn’t she have posted some kind of guard there if they were that precious to her? She seemed awfully careless about the whole thing. 😈As to the harvesting with wands, Rumple basically absorbed the power of the diamonds. It hink it could have something to do with him being the Dark One. Fairies might need the poweder to put into their wands, the Dark One simply takes what he wants.

ChrisParticipantAnother thing is bothering me. Have somebody a clue, what would happen, when you try to reap out Rumpels heart. I mean the only way to kill him is to stab him with the special knife, but can you also crash his heart?
Since he was made immortal and turned into the Dark One, I doubt it. Pherhaps his heart is protected from beeing ripped out, simmilar to Emmas only by dark magic in his case. I think the only way to kill him is with the magic dagger.

ChrisParticipantCora not having a heart reminds me of the Russian fairtale “The Frog Tsarevena” featuring an evil wizard named “Kostshei the Deathless”. Kostshei cannot be killed because he hid his life force in the tip of needle within an egg which was inside a duck which was inside a hare which again was inside a chest which was inside a large oak tree. (Talking of safety meassures running rampant)
Perhaps Cora did something simmilar with her heart, not quite as eleborate perhaps.
The same theme was shown in the Sindbad movie “Captain Sindbad”, where the villain also has his heart in a safe place. This time it’s a tower surrounded by monsters.Cora seems to know a lot about other planes of existence, might she have hidden her heart in the realm where the wraiths come from or some other “Netherworld”?
