ParticipantI can’t say that I agree. Mr.Gold still has that favor that Emma owes him, but Regina has Belle. And I don’t think a simple ‘please’ is going to make Regina set her free. I know you’re not supposed to break deals with Rumpelstiltskin, but what would happen if Regina just said no? So far, he hasn’t asked her to do anything super serious. So I think Regina still has leverage on Gold. Gold is super smart, sneaky, and devious. But so is Regina, and I haven’t seen Emma do any of that smartly. I’m team Regina 😀

ParticipantI like this thread :). The storybook looked pretty big, but it has lots of picture pages. so would it have enough pages to tell everything that concerned every single character? That would be a lot of reading. I wonder if it’s in order of the fairytales, or if it’s in order of events. Maybe we just don’t he enough information to tell right now.

ParticipantEmma knows that something isn’t right about Storybrook, even if she doesn’t believe in the curse. So I don’t think shes going to leave. If she does leave, then Graham’s death would have been for nothing.
I really hope Regina doesn’t die or something. Maleficent is cool and all, but she has no connection to Snow White and Prince Charming, and therefore, Emma. Emma is the savior, and the whole story is about hope and her beating the curse. Where would the story go if Emma did defeat the curse this season? The characters all have to find their happiness, and I like the idea of them going back to fairytale land, but not just yet. Theres still so many stories left to tell. Rumpelstiltskin said that it was “the curse to end all curses”, so its going to be more complicated then Regina dieing, or Emma finding true love.
Regina will do anything to keep Mary Margret and David seperated. So I think thats why shes being so friendly to David. He probably doesn’t have many friends since he cheated on his wife and people think he could be a murderer. Why did he go to Regina for advice? Maybe because he sees her as a friend, or as someone who will listen and isn’t afraid of him.

ParticipantThat song is Jar of Hearts origionally by Christina Perri. I really love that song 😀 Another perfect song for Regina is Animal I Have Become by Three Days Grace. Heres a link for a pretty good video with that song.

ParticipantIf Regina could use magic in storybrooke, then surely she would have killed Emma by now. I think her magic has limitations in Storybrooke. Remember in the episode where Emma and Sidney were running against eachother for sheriff, and Mr.Gold made that big explosion? Regina freaked out because she thought Emma was going to leave her. Or maybe it was a different episode. I can’t remember.
I read somewhere that one of the actors or writers said that the curse could be stronger then Regina. Thats what could be keeping her from using magic and not just magical items.

ParticipantOh yeah! Maybe the magical power that Regina has has been passed down throughout her family for generations. Maybe Rumpelstiltskin saw that she had magical abilities (if it works that way) and decided to keep her to replace his lost son. He could have raised her and taught her magic for a while before her mom took her back. I’m sort of doubting that though, but I do think that somehow Rumpel gave her her power.
