^ Which is a good thing imo and I’d prefer them doing it this way and only giving us a little taste and glimpse through the FTL promo pics, because they know very well what huge revelations to hold under wraps until the time comes. 😉 I doubt we’ll receive any present time (Neal featuring) sneak peeks as well. Maybe they’ll show us one or two seconds of present time Manhattan in the upcoming promo (because we know the sometimes plain stupidity of the ABC staff when it comes to exposing secrets/plot twists in previews *roll-eyes*), but I doubt there’ll be more for us to chew on…
Update? Ten days until Manhattan. <3
[adrotate group="5"]cinnamonhummingbirdParticipantHey guys!
Just want to point out – on a rather insignificant side note – that I just love how the majority of poll voters seems to be convinced that Neal is Bae (52 votes) even more so than Neal being Henry’s father (51 votes)…like what?! 😆In regards of the promo pictures, I’m pretty sure they’re going to deprive them of us until the first sneaks will air next week, simply because most of them will be quite spoiler-y. I'll forecast it's very probable that they'll release photos of Rumple's fairytale background story than some from present time events going on in Manhattan.
cinnamonhummingbirdParticipantLilRed, that would definitely explain why they did cast two actresses to play a seer, one little girl and a teenage girl/woman. Because maybe Rumple met her as a little boy and then later during the Ogre Wars. 😮

What does he enjoy most about playing Jiminy/Archie? Can he tease us a little of what is ahead for his character? More Archie sessions with several Storybrooke or fairytale characters maybe?
cinnamonhummingbirdParticipantIt surely looks like Bae on the left! *thud* Can’t. Wait. Best. Title. Card. Ever.

I feel like this has become the rallying cry of people who have always believed Neal was Bae. 🙂
It has! 😀 Wow, that scarf parallel is a great catch, if it’s the same one…they look kind of different to me, apart from having the same color, the one Neal wears looks a little longer? Nonetheless it would be so great if he kept it and wears it! What I’d love to see in Manhattan is whilst Emma is hunting down Neal, Rumple and Henry sneak into Neal’s apartment and Rumple somehow finds his boy’s clothing…the one he wore when falling into the portal. Of course just if Neal turns out to be Bae.

Mhm…so the “respectful” Neal-dislikers are trolling here as well? 🙄 Whatever.
So what you are saying is if someone likes Hook they can’t possibly like Neal too? That is just crazy! I’m not sure you could have been ruder.
Lol, no you completely misunderstood me. I wasn’t referring to you, but to the Neal-haters who used to stumble across these threads and I don’t know…take a bit of joy out of these news. Since you didn’t lurk in here for the sake of spreading offensive displeasure I was definitely not addressing you in any way with that statement. 😮 And, really, I would be the LEAST to say that Hook fans can’t be Neal fans as well since I’m closely befriended with many of them! 😆 It’s just the whole hating-because-of-shipping that annoys the crap out of me…vice-versa, not only from the Hook/Emma front, but other shipping cliques as well.
And yes, I’ve majorly experienced loads of the hate dumped on Neal so, sorry for being a bit biased and “rude” (if you still cling on that impression) but it’s aggravating when you like a character and it gets trashed one usually becomes a bit defensive. Especially when it’s encroaching upon flaming the actor himself.
January 21, 2013 at 8:21 pm in reply to: Guess who’s sticking around for the rest of the season? #169482cinnamonhummingbirdParticipantI can’t see Hook with anyone but Milah, tbh. After all it would make the whole vengeance arc a little bit preposterous for me, if he suddenly finds another “true love”. He could “hook up” with one of the available females, but having the same measurement of affection and love he once shared with Milah makes the whole structure and build-up of his story arc seem a bit unsteady and non credible. He has to stick around for the “Neverland” scenes of season three, though. Through the flashback we’ll receive a better insight in his character, because quite honestly with all the features he’s displaying now, the only noble one that makes me have compassion with him a tiny bit is the fact that he truly cared and stills cares for Milah and would even die for her. That’s the only trait I can identify and sympathize with. But, at least for me, the negative traits are just too overshadowing…and the fact that I can’t see the point in vengeance over a dead body at all, which is a general aversion and has nothing to do with the character himself. 🙁
So, yeah, what I’m basically trying to state on the matter of Hook: I think it would add a way more juicy plot twist if he’d turn out to be Peter Pan. If the writer’s intend to make him a bit more likable to the general audience and not only the hotness-on-two-feet-Hook obsessed ones. I’d be completely okay if he stays a villain though, because let’s be honest this show lacks continuity on that one with giving all the main villains a redemption arc.Back to the matter of Neal: Wonder how it happens that he’ll work things out with Rumple (*assuming Nealfire here*) that quickly? Emma must throw some quite convincing arguments at him here. Or maybe he just sticks around for his family – meaning especially for Henry and probably Emma, rather than being back together with Rumple. Gods, I’m looking forward to this whole awkwardness of that morbid family tree.
If he’s not Bae then…mhm…but, hell I’m talking about, of course he is Bae! He has to be. =)
cinnamonhummingbirdParticipantColin tweeted that he’s busy filming this year in Vancouver, so I’m pretty positive that he’s still sticking around there, but wasn’t on set the day this “soup incident” happened. 🙂 Apparently the whole joke of it based on a story that Robert Carlyle told during lunch break, but the actors are all arcane about it whenever the question of what’s that about pops up. They seem to really enjoy our nescience, lol.

His return is the thing I’m most looking forward to in the upcoming episodes, tbh. There is so much to tell about his character, his past and his motivations for leaving Emma back then…which could also bring August back into play.
Apart from that SwanThief might rise from the ashes. 😉 -
