ParticipantPan is totally the Pied Piper
Oh yes. His clothes are red. In the original legend the Pied Piper weares first very colorfull clothes when he arrived at Hamelin and helped the town to get rid off their rats but when he came to get the children he weared red clothes. And the reason why he is wearing red clothes is because the color red represents the devil himself.
We also are seeing the boys wearing devil like masks. Also the Greek god Pan whit his horns and half-man half-goat shape inspired the christian image of the devil.
And seeing these children wearing little devil masks, dancing around a fire and led by an powerful representation of the devil really reminds me of Walpurgis Night. It would also fit because Walpurgis Night is actually the night between April 30th and May 1st, which is exactly six months before All Hallows’ Eve. Maybe this episode was supposed the Halloween one like “The Doctor” last season.[adrotate group="5"]“There were thousands and thousands of forms of joy in the world, but that all were essentially one and the same, namely, the joy of being able to love.”

ParticipantThe dancing boy’s wearing masks reminds me of traditional some traditional German walpurgis night customs.
Also dancing around a fire and singing his name is a very common picture from Rumplestilskin’s original tale.“There were thousands and thousands of forms of joy in the world, but that all were essentially one and the same, namely, the joy of being able to love.”

ParticipantI just checked it and they showed us a picture of Titania and Oberon in “The Heart is a Lonely Hunter”. The user hjabu mentioned it
So if she is Titania I wonder where/who Oberon might be. Maybe the first Dark One like we were theorizing before?“There were thousands and thousands of forms of joy in the world, but that all were essentially one and the same, namely, the joy of being able to love.”

ParticipantI loved that episode. I guess most of my favorite moment have already been mentioned before.
But I would say the seeing the fairies homeworld, Regina ripping out her own heart and showing it to Tinkerbell, the Wilhelm Tell reference by Pan, etc.“There were thousands and thousands of forms of joy in the world, but that all were essentially one and the same, namely, the joy of being able to love.”

Participanthmm I agree with you in some points. Regina beeing a lost cause would be against the theme of the show. I also think that Blue wasn’t right with that, but I’m still not convinced that this mean that she’s kind of evil or that she is working for/with Pan.
Based on that she is so strict with rules I wouldn’t be surprised if she once made a big mistake which caused a big emotional pain to her. Maybe that theory is right that she accidentally created the Dark One by trying to make her BF immortal and because she wasn’t able to safe him from the darkness, she doesn’t believe in fighting against darkness and in true love anymore.
Or maybe she is sneaky but just because she wanted the last battle which Rumple mentioned. But under a “good purpose”.Well of course I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re right and she has evil intensions. But that doesn’t have to mean that she has to be working with/for Pan. I don’t think that he is supposed to be the main antagonist of the show. I guess he is just someone who knows a lot and want to be or control a big part of it. At least that is what I’m expecting. So I would be a little dissappointed if “SneakyFairy” would just work for/with him.
EDIT: Also if I have to guess Blue’s real name than I would guess she might be Titania the Queen of the Fairies in William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Haven’t we seen once a illustration of it on the show? I’m not sure about that.

ParticipantSneaky Fairy is Sneaky.
I think she in league with PP. I think together they’ve been conspiring for ages about how to get Henry. I think Blue was PP’s agent in the EF and that she has helped set in motion of a chain of events. The fact that as a Fairy she doesn’t believe in giving Regina a second chance of saving her from the Darkness is so suspicious! She should believe in love, her above everyone else!
THIS!
Blue: This is not a woman you can help. she is surrounded by darkness
Tink: I can’t believe you want me to ignore someone who needs help. That’s not very fairy-like.
Blue: I will be the judge of what is fairy-like.So she wasn’t willing to help Regina escape the darkness in her life, but when Bae had darkness in his life, “Oh here, lemme help you by giving up this super precious very last magical bean.”
Sneaky!!
Well the difference is that Regina already made a deal with Rumplestilskin to get revenge on her mother. Also we shouldn’t forget what Rumple said about darkness. When it has you, there is no going back. And I guess Blue also believes in that fate the same way like Rumple does.
So she thought that it was useless to try to help Regina and at the end we saw that she was right. What I wonder is: Did they mentioned some book in that dialog? Have they mentioned it before? I’m not sure about that.
Also what I find very interesting was that Blue called Tinkerbell just Green what Tinker doesn’t like. So I guess being called “Blue” or “Green” is some sort of fairy nickname or title? Maybe it’s some kind of rule and she called TB “Green” because she want to be called “Blue” not by her real name. Well she was also called Rheul Ghorm but that is just Scots Gaelic for “Blue Star” which can be just another nickname for her.
So now I wonder if she has real name we doesn’t know yet. Maybe a name no one knows besides her.“There were thousands and thousands of forms of joy in the world, but that all were essentially one and the same, namely, the joy of being able to love.”

ParticipantNow we know that we gonna see the ship go through the portal from the SB side. So this episode might be a Belle-centric one. And now I’m wondering what the “Dark Hollow” might be. Maybe something from Belle’s past or maybe something in SB?

ParticipantSo did the Curse not affect FictionalLondon and WL (except for Jefferson)? Because it seemed to me like YoungAlice came back to FictionalLondon after the Curse was cast and everyone was in SB (but then how did she meet The Knave)?
I thought they said that the curse affected all lands. So I think it froze the time in all lands. So I think most stuff which happened was before the curse and after Alice came back to FictionalLondon time was frozen until Emma arrived in SB.
Edit: I should have checked the chat before I posted.^^

ParticipantThat’s also the title of a song by the Rolling Stones- But I don’t know what’s the song about.

Oh thanks. I guess I missed that specific line. So I thought he never really explain why he was thinking it was right to fight back.
So at this point I would say his lie is more acceptable, but it still has a bitter taste for me.
On the other hand it’s interesting, that Pan used a big lie(the Home Office) to lead Greg and Tamara to misbelief for his own good while Charming used one to make Snow belief into herself and for the good of the people.“There were thousands and thousands of forms of joy in the world, but that all were essentially one and the same, namely, the joy of being able to love.”
