ParticipantIf we’re talking about, “Does this make Emma dark?”, I thought it was justified. She was defending the life of her son – the person in her life who she has unconditional love for.
Let’s compare this to Snow in S2. She killed Cora because, besides the fact that Cora wanted to kill them, Snow wanted to get revenge for everything Cora’s done. That’s wrong.
Emma, on the other end, killed Cruella because she was under the perfectly reasonable idea that Cruella was going to kill Henry. If she had known prior that Cruella wouldn’t kill him then still did it, I would say that that’s wrong. But, since she was defending her son (who, after almost two years worth of every single villain on this show including his adoptive mother trying to kill him, still hasn’t learned any survival skills), I believe that she was completely justified and does not deserve to go dark.
But of course she will. Which is a shame, too, because Cruella now ranks as one of my favorite villains on this show. Her playing Angry Birds was great.

ParticipantThis twist stresses me out. How is a land stuck in America-1920’s even before America had its 1920s?? Like, it’s 1910 in America…but 1920 in Fictional 1920 London? How does that even work? And which lands are not bound by these wonky time laws? Is there no time anywhere? Does no one have any concept of time? How does that work?
Wait, where are you getting 1910 in America? I thought perhaps this was concurrent with 1960-1970 real world America, based on Cruella’s age.
I think she means, “What was 1920 Fictional London like when it was 1910 in America?”
My guess is that, since time is a man-made concept and time has always worked differently between worlds, this one could’ve just always started as being the 1920s. Maybe it (and Victiorian England) are like Storybrooke – just lost in time.

ParticipantABC finally confirms the 2 hour finale airing on May 10th.
Once Upon A Time – TWO-HOUR SEASON FINALE – SUNDAY, MAY 10 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
I find that PR a little funny, since it has episode descriptions for everything except Once and Scandal.

ParticipantSomething else I noticed: in 3×22, after “Marian” comes back, she runs to Robin and Roland. Roland looks up to her and says, “Mama?” She responds, “Roland!” Zelena never once met Roland during her arc, so how would she know his name?
Also, how did Zelena get the clover back from Robin Hood? Did she poof it?

ParticipantSoooo I think Author is Isaac Goose, the real life husband of the real life Mother Goose.
Sure, why not! If Emma dated a monkey and Bo Peep is an evil warlord, sure.

ParticipantZelena was a villain that, when she was originally teased, I was excited about. 3×12 and 3×13 were great episodes in her arc, and she was posed as a truly intimidating figure. As time passed (and after Neal’s death), she became to me a brat who was upset because she wasn’t the favorite. This is why I’m mixed about her returning: I think she has the potential to be a truly intimidating figure, but the way she was just like, “Haha, Rumps! I got the best of you and Regina and I killed your son and I WIN AND YOU LOSE! HA!” made me wish she was just porcelain.
Also, I don’t like how a.) Rumple is now doing everything he’s doing because Zelena has his life in her hands, again and b.) how Rumple is agreeing to work with her and even calling it an “understanding.” What understanding? That she’s now one of Rumple’s Angels? It doesn’t feel believable to me, so unless they do something quick to redeem her character (I mean, she didn’t have to dispose of Marian. She shouldn’t even have had the magic to dispose of Marian because of her pendant being destroyed!), I’m going to be annoyed seeing her on Sunday nights.
Oh, and how did Zelena get all green and wicked in the “Snow Falls” period? She would’ve been dressed in the blue sweater she was wearing in the prison cell. And if they use the “the two Zelenas during that time merged into the one” time travel law (which I think is what’s supposed to happen), why didn’t that happen to Hook?

ParticipantI thought about this a lot, and I came to this: when a person originally becomes a DO, they retain their morals and values. They’re still human, just with more power and knowledge. However, as time goes on, their heart slowly starts to become corrupted until they die. This corruption causes them to stray off any path they were on.
For example, let’s use Snow White. She’s supposed to have the purest heart in the land, but if she became the DO, she would eventually become pure evil.
I could see the writers using this to explain all of Rumple’s actions: his DO curse finally corrupted his heart, causing him to become a pure evil figure right before his eventual death.
