Michael
Blocked@Michael I’m excited that Hook will (Finally) have a storyline that isn’t him pining after Emma all the time, repeatedly, and that (hopefully) he will actually contribute something to the plot. If Emma were in this season more than an episode, I am sure his storyline would be the same thing as before. But now…it looks like we are going to get some more awesome acting and story from this guy and that’s a good thing. Him being married is irrelevant because they could still have given him some romance centered tripe.
i was more referring to the never say never. Hook should absolutely never get a new LI. He is married to his true love, his happy ending. Let Regina get s new LI she’s single, hook on the other hand should never get one.
I’m fine with them focusing on other relationships for him but a new LI should be a never for him , he is a married man, period!

BlockedIGN: Are you looking to have new love interests for characters like Hook and Regina? Horowitz: What I’ll say is this: romance is a huge part of the show, but for those characters in particular, they’re dealing with other things right now. For Regina, for example, she’s never been someone who’s been defined by finding a romantic partner. She’s about so much more, and really much more important is the relationship with her son. Kitsis: And I think you’re going to find with Hook there’s also a pressing goal ahead of him. I would never say never — and I don’t want to say yes … but the truth of the matter is, right now, they have other things going on in the first half of this season. Again, it is Once Upon a Time and romance is going to be on the show, especially with Henry and Cinderella, who we’re modeling after [Charming and Snow].
Finally!
…Hook is MARRIED! He should never be getting a new LI. He is a married man. Regina is single and that is fine but Hook is a married man! Thought they said they were not destroying the last 6 seasons. I’d really like an explanation how that is the case if Hook gets another LI when he is married to his true love and soulmate!

BlockedMost of yall hate watch the show anyways so what’s your excuse for judging me for not watching past 7×02.

BlockedBut you will still be tuned in Friday nights at 8pm EST. So…
Wrong I got plenty of other things to do on a Friday at 8pm. Watch 7×02 then peace out till series finale and hopefully they can bring back JMO for a cameo so we can reunite hook and Emma. I don’t give two craps about wal-mart version of characters from s1.
Absolutely nothing that they’ve said about S7 sounds interesting or original. It sounds like a rip off of S1.
I personally want the show cancelled and since I’m a member of the Neilson family I will not at all help this trash get another season by tuning in past episode 2.

BlockedUnlike the Neal choice this is a poor business decision. Like all reboots it will fail and just like Dungey has made crystal clear she will not hesitate to cancel the show should the new characters not connect. Spoiler alert just like many reboots, this one will not work.
Don’t make me laugh please.
New story. Re-hash of S1 with minor changes. Even the cast is saying this stuff. Regina and Henry will have the Snow and Emma relationship. This is not a parallel, this is L-A-Z-I-N-E-S-S.
New character. Wal-Mart version of S1 characters, it also does not help that the cast is even saying as such.
New romance. Wal-Mart version of Snowing. If I want to watch a Snowing epic romance I can watch S1. I do not need to watch two actors that probably won’t even have a shred of the chemistry Snowing had. Also doesn’t help that Cinderella looks like she’s pushing 40.
New Villain – Wal-Mart Cora with no magic no thanks.
There is NOTHING new at all about S7. It’s a rip off of S1.

BlockedNeal dying could absolutely happen. The character was not clicking with the audience, the relationship with Emma started on controversial terms to many people, and when they brought in Hook majority of audiences found him a more appealing choice for Emma then Neal.
Plus it allowed them to do what they love doing with Rumple, which would never have happened had Neal never have been killed off.
It was a business choice in the end that ended up not affecting the show much as we all know the ratings/viewers didn’t suffer a lot for it.
Killing off Emma however is a death blow to S7, so I don’t expect it happening.

BlockedNeal is nothing compared to Emma, especially to the fans that invested 6 years in her story. Do not compare them, it does not at all mean the same thing. Neal also was not really that popular with the fanbase, evidenced in the fact that they barely lost ratings/viewers when they killed him off.
It would also not just be a bad writing choice, but deliver an early death blow to S7. If anybody thinks they will not lose a lot of viewers killing off Emma they have another thing coming. Emma was the lead heroine, the Meredith Gray of this show. Audiences will not like the main heroine dying, period. It would be suicide for S7. It will absolutely be a death blow to an already very questionable S7 that even media outlets still are not confident in.
Neither is Dungey since she basically made it clear she will cancel it should the new characters fail to connect with the audience.

BlockedMaybe what Adam means is while it’s Emma’s curtain call it won’t be her goodbye. It’s the end of Emma’s storyline focus on OUAT but it may not be the last time we see her. So it’s not her goodbye. That would be my guess.

BlockedThere’s plenty of ways for her to pass the torch without dying and risk infuriating your audience
i didn’t say dying. I’m saying following Henry from now on in a new direction isn’t the end of the world all because JMO wants to move on. If anything you should be blaming her for not wishing to return, not A&E. Any of the fans are free to keep it trucking if they have such an issue instead of constantly repeating how much they don’t think the show will survive without Emma. Like… It’s happening…. At the end of the day those same fans are going to be tuning in Friday nights at 8.
But seriously what is Adam even saying. Curtain Call means
the appearance of the performers at the conclusion of a theatrical or other performance in response to the applause of the audience.
So Emma is taking her bow to this show or this show is at its end and everyone is or what? I think Adam needs to take a hint and buy a vowel:
Sure it’s happening but it’s gonna die this season. Reboot is gonna flop so badly, they’re so desperate for audiences they’re targeting minorities. It’s really sad and pathetic. It won’t work though. If people stopped watching OUAT they’re not gonna miraculously come back on s7. Especially in a Friday night at 8 pm

BlockedIf Emma dies that will be a massive turn off for anyone. It goes against everything. There’s plenty of ways for her to pass the torch without dying and risk infuriating your audience. The audience you desperately need and can’t afford to lose.
The audience is already skeptical of the reboot and yes that includes the GA, just take a look at FB. They will not take kindly to Emma Swan dying. They will lose a large amount of viewers if that happens, you can bank on that.
One thing people do not like is having their time wasted.
You’re kidding yourself if you think people will just take the series lead of the past 6 seasons dying and just roll along like it’s nothing. They will absolutely lose viewers should this happen.
It would literally be suicide to their S7. Complete and utter suicide.
The show will also not be gaining any new viewers, that is not how this business works. More likely then not if you stopped watching OUAT for the past couple years then you likely are not gonna come back especially when it aires on a Friday night at 8pm.
