BlockedI personally have no issue with the curse or memory wipe so long as they can switch it up and make it interesting.
Yeah I mean they have to switch it up. If you’re going to do the same schtick every time, at least twist it a bit. And they’ve done it so many times now that they really need to switch it up A LOT. Like, serious question….why do they keep doing memory wipes? And I don’t want an answer like, “Well they are horrible unoriginal writers and can’t think of anything else.” That’s ridiculous. Do they really think that they can only do a full season of drama if there is a curse and everyone doesn’t remember stuff? Are they trying to just mirror season 1 on purpose? Bc there’s no way that a memory wipe is the only thing these writers can come up with. Was this the only way to be able to have their cake and eat it too (keep Regina, Hook and Rumple on the show but also keep their Enchanted Forest selves? Like, there has got to be better reasoning than just these writers don’t know what else to do. Do they think that curses and memory wipes are actually what the fans want? I just don’t get it.
These are the same writers that this season literally used a memory potion in EVERY single episode when it came to flashbacks. So you tell me.

BlockedI don’t see why not as long as its interesting and keeps us captivated. I think having them in the real world is a must (the EF would get too boring after awhile) and having them cursed with new personas make it a fresh start. If they were cursed back to their normal alter egos, then its just repetitive. Its something, guys. Gotta take what we can get at this point. I don’t think there is much this show can do anymore to liven things up.
Because no one wants to see them separated from all their loved ones for an entire season, that’s too much. Sure it may not be nothing if you watch it on Netflix as a binge watch but asking the audience to wait 22 episodes to see them reunited is asking way too much. Especially if they’re cursed the entire time. That would just anger audiences. The least thing they want to do is alienate the little audience they have left.
I say mid season finale it’s all done and then the second half is about getting back to SB and reuniting with everyone and facing the final evil or whatever. I do believe in 7B we’ll see more of Emma, Snowing, Belle, and Zelena.

BlockedWhy on Earth would people want to see a rehash of S1 IN S7!? Why would they want to see Hook, Regina, and Rumple stripped away of everyone they love, their true loves, and be cursed?
Actually it wouldn’t technically be a rehash bc we never saw Rumple or Regina or Hook stripped away from everyone they loved in season 1. It was Emma, and Snowing and the rest of the town. So technically, it’s different.
Point is this plot point has been done to death on this show. They gave the villains their happy endings and now they see to take that away from them and destroying the last 6 years potentially. S1 they were able to get away with it because the show was starting but something like this will not go over well in S7 especially after establishing the happy endings in the S6 finale. Here’s hoping they don’t prolong this bogus curse longer than the mid-season finale because I don’t think audiences will be patient enough to stick around if it goes beyond that point. At least in regards to Hook, Regina, Rumple, and Henry being cursed.

BlockedOMG we do know things.
We do know this happens 14 years in the future from where we left off.
We know that Hook, Regina, and Rumple are CURSED with new identities in a new city. Common sense will tell you right there that they’re separated from their true loves and families.
Why on Earth would people want to see a rehash of S1 IN S7!? Why would they want to see Hook, Regina, and Rumple stripped away of everyone they love, their true loves, and be cursed?
Why does any of this sound appealing? The only thing this sounds interesting for is the ER’s cause now they can see Regina get a TL.
Rumple and Hook already have that, so it’s cruel to have them separated from their true loves and families and who knows maybe Hook and Emma had children so that’s even worse for Hook. Who knows about Rumple, Belle, and Gideon and their family.

BlockedS1 worked so well because it was the beginning. They could get away with doing things because the story was just starting. Plus it helped that the flashbacks helped flesh out the present. All that angst in the present was balanced by the past. This is going to be S7, stories have been told and happy endings have been established. We will not be able to have that cushion that S1 had
Why on Earth would people want to see Rumple, Regina, and Hook cursed with new identities separated from their true loves, families, and happy endings? It could work in S1 but not in S7. That’s what has angered many people.
How will they explain how these three got separated from everyone else? How will they explain this in a way where they don’t destroy the last 6 seasons and take away the happy endings permanently?
ABC has moved this show to Friday, which means they don’t have faith in this vision. They’ve cut the budget completely and moved it to the death slot. They have ZERO faith, they just think it’s cheaper to have this show on the air then put money in a new show where it can bomb within one season.
Don’t make me laugh, these writers are not gonna change. How many times have we seen the same freaking storylines repeated over and over again with this show. Sure the writers think they’re smart because “parallels” but it’s not that anymore it’s just lazy freaking writing and if it has not changed in six years then it’s not gonna change in S7.
It’s unfortunate because S6 was had an amazing ending but now S7 is likely gonna end the show with a whimper and be very very rushed. I just hope they don’t keep Hook, Regina, and Rumple cursed for a long time, because audiences will not have the patience for that crap. A half season at most for everyone. I hope that Henry, Hook, Regina, and Rumple wake up from their curse within a couple of episodes and then spend majority of 7A breaking the curse on everyone.

BlockedUgh one of the worst writers on Teen Wolf from what I heard.

BlockedHere’s the facts folks. Right now OUAT has a rating of a 0.9. EVERY year it drops, you cannot change that.
It got a 0.9 in a finale that was heavily promoted as a farewell for multiple characters. What ratings do you expect when the show has lost all it’s characters? LBR here this show is going to be getting abysmal ratings by it’s winter finale.
This show is not going to get new viewers, it’s just not happening. No show in it’s 7th season will convince people to start watching. Either you’re watching it or you’ve quit.
Now they need to treat this premiere with care, because it will either make or break S7.
Doing anything completely stupid to destroy the last 6 seasons, destroy the happy endings permanently or kill off characters would kill the reboot before it begins.
If you look at a bunch of social media, the reaction to S7 is overwhelmingly negative.
All polls about the season whether you’ll be watching or not, it’s a No that wins.
There’s also polls on whether you’ll watch if Emma isn’t on it, an overwhelming 69% said no, and this was over 10,000 people voting.
The reaction to S7 is not good, and if they go to CC I fully expect they will be doing damage control all the time and promising that this isn’t the last you’ll see of Emma and the other characters leaving. They’ll all be back for multiple episodes.
On top of that this show has always been praised by being female led….not anymore. It’s now centering around a male lead, like every other show on TV. So it doesn’t have even that going for them.
Bottom line, they’re in trouble and they need to proceed with caution and great care.

BlockedJennifer Morrison is not going to be in a lot of episodes. I think it is pretty unlikely that it will be more then one.
Incorrect. She’s said she’s contracted for one, not that she’s only going to do one.
Also fans that have met her at the play have stated that she’s told them she’s gonna do a couple of episodes in s7. However, she’s taking a break. So I assume it’ll be one in 7A and then a couple more in 7B.
The writers have already told her the idea they have for S7 and how they want to work Emma into it with JMO’s schedule.
Besides hows your track record going when it comes to the show? Aren’t you always wrong, lol.
Michael
BlockedI feel like 7B will be about getting all the characters back to SB and that’s probably when we’ll see more of Emma and everyone else.
Michael
BlockedColin said the CS story is perfect and while S7 is different we should be excited for it.
He wouldn’t say that if CS was gonna get destroyed or Emma was gonna die. Maybe this means they’ll keep CS spirit alive in the show without Jen by having a CS kid be cursed along with Hook.
Maybe have 2-3 CS kids, and one of them is with Hook cursed while the other two are with Emma off screen.
I imagine the one with Hook would be a teen around 14-15. The others could be older than Lucy but younger than the first.
