BlockedYup, people tuned in to say goodbye. The ratings next year are gonna be interesting to say the least.
How long until ABC cuts the order or announces it is the final season is my most interesting word of thought. Not even having Moana will save them, this shows glory days are past them.
Frozen was so big, Moana…not so much. Didn’t even do that well in regards to other Disney properties.

BlockedYeah and I suspect that what made Henry lose belief is obviously this curse and also probably whatever happened to his wife.
I don’t think it has anything to do with his family.

BlockedRatings for the finale are in. A 0.9 for both hours, with 2.96 million viewers in the 1st hour, and 2.91 million viewers in the 2nd hour. Also worth noting that the recap special got a 0.8 and 2.85 million viewers. Honestly stunned that a clipshow managed to get the same rating as some of the recent actual episodes, including last week’s musical episode. In fact, the special is actually slightly up from the musical in total viewers, 2.85 million vs 2.84 million.
It’s probably cause this was the goodbye for the main cast aside from the three staying.
It’s probably the last we will see that .9, because a lot of people in comments sections across all the articles said last night was their series finale.

BlockedIs this reliable? So shooting would be in Vancouver, but not Steveston? https://mobile.twitter.com/yvrshoots/status/862521846784114688
That’s the rumor going around. Sounds like Season 7 will most likely be in a new setting.
Which likely means this is literally going to be a reboot. Won’t effect the last 6 years at all. I imagine the 3 regulars returning may all just appear in flashbacks.

BlockedDo we even think RumBelle will even still be floating at the end of all this? When Belle realizes Rump lied, again, and is working with what is being called the creator of all dark magic against her friends and family? If Belle takes Rump back, I seriously think we need to have an intervention to talk some sense in her.
She’ll forgive him because he’s probably going to die protecting his family. Sounds familiar right? Yeah cause it already happened.
Master storytellers so clever recycling plots from 3 seasons ago.

BlockedIf you don’t like that well it’s no surprise since you don’t like Hook so you don’t understand Hook at all. Clearly or you wouldn’t be saying something like well I hope hook doesn’t just grovel and do everything to find Emma. That’s who Hook is! Just like Rumpe with belle and Gideon! Talk about a double standard.
Don’t understand him? There’s no issue with someone trying to find their significant other, the issue is that that’s ALL Hook has story-wise. Not an issue with Rump, not an issue with Regina, or Snowing, or Belle. That’s only Hook. Its repetitive. You can’t reboot a series by literally doing the exact same thing. You are just restating the issue of the way Hook is written. He has nothing in this story but to float around Emma. Take her out of the equation and we are all left wondering what purpose he has, and the only thing you can come up with is that he must find her. So in other words he’s pointless now at this stage because we are minus Emma. You cannot come up with a plot involving Hook that has nothing to do with his ship. That’s the problem because now only one half of the show remains. Hook shouldn’t have been here past season 3 in my opinion, but if even the writers cant give him any non-ship related material, he definitely shouldn’t be here now. I’d much rather have Hook actually doing something instead of that if he is going to stick around. I’m hoping its flashback stuff.
The finding Emma thing would only happen if this isn’t flashbacks. If it’s flashbacks then absolutely he’ll be doing other things because these flashbacks will be from before he met Emma.
Same with Rumple though, the Rumple in the present if Belle or Gideon were taken away from him he would not give up searching until he found them. Same as Hook! They both value family above everything else and for them Emma and Belle along w/ Gideon for Rumple are family.

BlockedI think a new curse creating a new town is a bad idea though. I get the feeling its gonna take place in the real world and that the events of tomorrows episode are going to bring magic to our land. And of course, all magic comes with a price, so now its gonna be some serious bad juju going on.
It’s one of the only ways to conserve the happy endings of the past 6 seasons have these 3 people in the show while also being able to build us up for potential more seasons with new characters. It does work, will it? Probably not.
Plus if Rumple dies(which I’m pretty sure he’s going to) it means that flashbacks are very likely. And having these three only in flashbacks develops are new characters while also showing us familiar faces.
Alot of the articles state the focus will be on the new characters not the ones returning.
Michael
BlockedIt could mean we’re going to be in a different town, with a different curse, and new fairy tail characters. Hook, Regina, and Rumple will appear in flashbacks to put more depth on these new characters.
That’s my new prediction. They can use Hook, Regina, and Rumple to seque us from one cast to another. It makes sense.
Adam and Eddy want to multiple more seasons, even if they’re completely delusional and so this is their chance at starting fresh. The audience will recognize the characters they love from the flashbacks and they’ll see the new characters interact with them and think we’ll fall in love with the new characters.
Will it be successful? I highly highly doubt it.

BlockedI think that Emma is going to burn the Storybook and that is going to do something. I don’t think they intend Regina, Rumpel, and Hook to be just in flashbacks. That just makes no sense at all, in my opinion.
I think it makes perfect sense especially if Rumple dies in the finale.
You can use these recognizable faces in flashbacks to establish your new characters so that if they do another season which is doubtful then they can focus completely on the new characters.
like the theory says hook Regina and rumple are simply there to transition the show from one cast to another.
This is another theory that protects the last 6 years and doesn’t harm any of the happy endings.
Im gonna ignore your jab at the ending cause again bitterness. Hook and Emma co deputy and sheriff riding off into the sunset on the bug is a wonderful ending but anyway….
Should there be a separation or Emma missing then absolutely hook is going to be focusing completely on finding Emma. That’s just who he is at his core, Emma is his family, his true love, his wife, he would search everywhere to find her or get back to her. And don’t make his a double standard because rumple would do the exact same thing. If he’s separated from belle and Gideon he will do whatever it takes to get back to them.
If you don’t like that well it’s no surprise since you don’t like Hook so you don’t understand Hook at all. Clearly or you wouldn’t be saying something like well I hope hook doesn’t just grovel and do everything to find Emma. That’s who Hook is! Just like Rumpe with belle and Gideon! Talk about a double standard.

BlockedTheory posted on tumblr.
So basically S7 is a reboot, literally. A new town, a new curse, inhabited by new fairy tale characters. A new Once Upon a Time book.
Hook, Regina, and Rumple will only appear in flashbacks because they have interacted with the people in this new town back in the Enchanted Forest.
It won’t affect any happy endings in SB, it won’t effect or destroy the last 6 seasons and it can continue the Disney theme.
I’ve noticed Bridgette and everyone have been talking about a brand new show and new characters and everything. Eddy said it’s a brand new show.
We’ve got confirmation that S7 will NOT take place in Storybrooke. So that means JMO’s appearance in the premiere may be just to check in on the residents and then we could see maybe Captain Swan with their kids in their house and then it could be like all is happy in Storybrooke, but in THIS town the story is just getting started.
But it’ll flop. Not even having Moana, Tiana, Simba, Goofy, or any other Disney characters will save that reboot.</p>
It’s eerily similar to Glee S4(jmo was slated for 7 episodes which means we would have visited storybrooke for those episodes and been updated on what’s going on)and Scrubs S9 both which were not received well. And we already have carbon copies only diff sex of both Henry and Emma
If this is the case it means all the happy endings are still in tact and it’s basically a Once Upon a Time in Wonderland scenario, except they can’t call it something else because nobody will watch it. So it needs to have THE name in order to be recognizable and Colin Lana and Bobby are the people that we’ll recognize in flashbacks with these new characters. If this gets another season(LMAO it won’t, it’ll flop so bad) but if it does Colin, Lana, Bobby will be out and the full focus will be on all the characters of the new town. So basically the regulars returning are here to help to transition the show from the old cast to the new cast.
