Yesterday ABC renewed Scandal for a last season, they had no problem announcing it as that, however with OUAT, not only they gave it 22 epis, like they didn`t anounced it ,at least not yet, as last season, can this be that ABC/Disney may think that they may end getting more seasons than only this one?
This is a very good point. They’re obviously waiting and watching next seasons’s ratings like all of us.
Ratings are going to be so bad I can’t wait to see Adam and Eddy try to rush towards a finish next season.
Reboots are never ever successful. See Scrubs, see Sleepy Hallow, see Glee, see The OC, they do not work.

We’re all committed to it. But we are thinking about doing a reformatting because two podcasts a week is getting…well, tiring. Especially with Noddle Baby. Don’t know exactly what it will be, but OncePodcast isn’t going anywhere.

And this also explains JMo leaving, 22 episodes, no way she would do 22 episodes, she only sign for 1, if they were intended to do a 11 or 13 epis, i could see her appear in more episodes, but with 22 epis, nope.
She could appear in one more, if it’s the series finale.
God those ratings are going to be hilarious I can’t wait to watch the show burn.

The thing with reboots is that a lot of people end up tuning in to the first episode (or two) just “to see.” Now, they usually flock elsewhere (look at Sleepy Hollow’s ratings for its final season) but initially people are curious enough to tune in. So, I’ll say that the opening will get at least a .7, possibly a .8 and go from there.
Without Snowing, Emma, Belle, Henry.. I highly doubt it.
This reboot makes no sense. So you’re going to get rid of literally every single character that makes these three characters whom they are.
That makes these three characters compelling three dimensional characters. Now they’re just gonna be what?
This is a disaster in the making. What is Regina without Snowing or Henry? What is Rumple without Belle? What is Hook without his freaking wife he just married Emma?
Plus these three characters hate each other and they never interact…this just seems pointless.

There’s no reason why Adam is not promoting the finale when literally he does this for every episode. Something is going on.
He doesn’t want to deal with angry fans. He has done it many times. He doesn’t have to interact with fans in order to promote the show.
He can still post script teases like he always does.

Actually that’s not a sign. Just cause it’s scheduled to start filming doesn’t mean it will. Castle was scheduled to start filming and was cancelled at the last minute. The same thing can happen to OUAT S7.
With the way this is playing out it’s almost identical to Castle. Only difference is JMO chose to leave whereas Stana was fired. When you’re losing this many cast members it’s time to hang up the belt.
