I feel like this is setting him up to redeem himself by finding a way to solve the curse upon Snowing.

Seriously if this is what the show is like without Snowing or Emma, cancel the crap right now!
I think if this is going to play out like Going Home then next season is definitely the last. It has to be if it ends with the people staying reuniting with the people leaving.
That’s a HEA scenario completely. It may be tricky to reel in the ones leaving to come back but I’m sure they would if they were told it’s the series finale.
And the whole cast will reunite for the series finale including the people leaving. They’ll come back for the series finale.
Somebody explain this to me. If JMO leaves what happens with CS? I would assume nothing happens, they’re just separated but will be reunited at the end of the final season.
Even so they will still be married. Emma is not dying, therefore the marriage still stands. So it just means husband and wife are separated for the rest of the season, till the finale.
Yet some neanderthals on Tumblr take this to mean CS is sinking? Yeah no, JMO leaving this season does not mean the CS ship is sinking or that the marriage is over. It just means what it does, they’re probably going to be separated.
And Hook’s storyline next season will have to do with finding Emma.
Gideon and the new guy filmed together, so I think the two new characters are from the BF’s world.
Regardless this really seems like a mess. No idea where Snowing and Emma are during this sequence.
Canadagraphs is backing up what the guy is saying, so yeah Rumple is dying. Emma is not.
It’s the ending I expected for his character and ultimately his happy ending will be reuniting with his son in the after life.
