My theory is that this version of Hook is created by Emma. Somehow she creates in the same respect her parents did in 6×20 the means to protect her by wishing upon a star, she does it in the same respect for Henry. Her wish plus her magic creates some clone/wish version of Hook. He’s still our Hook in every way but just a copy.

This copy is whom Officer Rogers is in HH’s. However he very much is still our Hook. Which means he is still Emma Swan’s husband, his true love is still Emma Swan, and if Emma and Killian have a child he very much is that babies father. As we know from premiere spoilers and RG or Matt can back me up this version of Hook whomever he is very much still recognizes Emma. It still very much is his true love, as he’s drawn to the picture of her the same way Emma was in the S6 finale of Hook in the book. This also explains why they’ve been pretty adamant that Hook is not getting a new LI.

I imagine the endgame for this Hook because I truly believe Colin is done this season, is that once his mission with Henry is over he will be reintegrated back into our Killian and he can live his HEA with the woman he loves and his child.

Colin confirms here he is playing an alternate version of Hook and the previous version of Hook is living his happily ever after with Emma.

    What if <em style=”box-sizing: border-box; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, serif; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.75);”>Emma cast this curse and sacrificed her own heart

Not happening, they already said whom cast the curse will be one of the mysteries of S7. I highly doubt they’ll reveal it in episode 2.

I also think the way the curse is cast works differently in EF 2. I’d say you’re looking at the more likely possibility of Anastasia being used to cast the curse.

This. I think it’s possible some fans who gave up on the show a few seasons ago will at least tune in for the premiere out of curiosity. And then ep 2 is Captain Swan so that will get viewers. I think it’s possibly the first two EPA could even get a 1. something.

Now that is a pipedream. It’s not getting a 1.0. We’re long past those numbers for this show.

Even they realize this is probably gonna flop and be the last year.

What is with this filter? Why do they look so cheap? I thought Neverland S3 promotional pics were bad, yikes.

I think the half hour break down ratings for 701 might actually be the most interesting part of the ratings that week. If it drops a whole demo point from the first to the second, we’ll know how people are receiving the new season.

Lots of GA members are still unaware of all the cast changes.

I will also say OUAT does not have a good lead in whatsoever this year, it has the local news.

It could be. It’s a Friday night so that’s gonna change things. But it’s also a new season and historically we stay steady; it’s being promoted as a fresh start, a reboot and I would never count out curiosity for people who at least want to see if they’ll like the new direction. I definitely agree it could fall to a .8 or even a .7. I don’t think .6 is going to happen; that might happen as we get closer to the finale of 7A.

I don’t think it’ll take that long to get to a 0.6 especially if fans exit out of S7 with JMO or Emilie’s episode.

My opinion is you’ll be looking at CW ratings by mid season finale aka 0.5 or 0.4 and God help them in 7B if they don’t promote it as the last season and bring back the original cast to end the show.

I say this on the record if Emma’s episode ends on a bad note, that will kill their show. It will tank the ratings completely.

No offense RG but I think that’s a pipe dream.

It got a 0.9 because it was heavily promoted as the series finale for our original cast. They maintained that balance of ratings because of the original cast all those years. No significant cast changes.

This is a whole new ball game with a lot of bad things mixed in which you have to take into account.

Friday night is something you must take in.

You also have to take in the amount of fans not watching S7. Yes the new cast will bring in some new fans but it won’t be enough to cover the amount of people not watching S7. I mean LBR Jennifer Morrison and Ginnifer Goodwin have more star power by themselves then all the new series regulars combined. And I’d say that pre S1 as well.

The very mixed bag reaction S7 has gotten in general.  A 0.9 is a pipe dream IMO.

A more realistic rating I’d say is a 0.7, potentially 0.6. A new series low or a tie to a series low.

Even with all the promotion they’re doing, you just can’t save a show that was already dying and now with this controversial idea they have for S7 it just if anything speeds up that death.

So I say taking everything into account a 0.7.

Well, that isn’t going to happen because it isn’t true and Jennifer can’t be in the end of this episode because she is only in one episode.

    Quote

It actually is true. Jen doesn’t have to appear in the episode to make the point come across that I said.
