I actually like this. AND THEY ACTUALLY WENT FOR A POSTER WITHOUT AN APPLE!!! OH MY GOD! Although I’m not sure if I like that they went for a new character. They should have gone with one of the originals (Regina, Hook or Rumple). But overall, it’s a nice poster.
probably went with new characters cause they’re the future of the show. The originals are probably leaving after this season.
[adrotate group="5"]That would give Hook another thing in 7b, being a single parent and maybe find a new love, if Regina, can have a True love that dies, and a soud mate that dies, only to probably find a TL/SM in s7, the same can happen to Hook.
Regina had a whole season to mourn the loss of Robin, If Emma dies Hook and the audience deserve that same respect they gave Regina. It would take Hook a lot longer then a season to move on from Emma Swan, especially when it took him 300 yrs to move on from Milah.
Plus on off screen death would be the most disrespectful thing they could do to Emma Swan.
Mind you this is all a moot point as everything they’ve said to me absolutely suggests that Emma is not going to die.
Well, we don’t really know any of that. Hook won’t have a love interest right away, but he may eventually have one. All the characters have had multiple partners over the show, so it could happen.
No he will not. They have only talked about 3 romances this season. LGBT, Henry/Cinderella, and Regina and her new LI coming.
They don’t mention Hook at al getting an LI except in a joking matter and not being serious at all. Compare how they talk about Regina having an LI and Hook having one. The difference is night and day. With Hook they’re trolling and joking around being their usual dumb selves. W/ Regina they’re talking about how that’s something they want to do with her and it’ll happen in 7B.
I don’t expect this show to go on for more seasons, especially not with the returning regulars. I fully believe this is a transitional season and at the end of this season when the curse is broken we will see Hook and Rumple go back to their HEA’s in SB. They would never stay in HH’s post curse, their happy endings are not their. Giving Hook a new LI is absolutely pointless because once he wakes up he will be completely focused on getting back to Emma especially if there’s a child as well with her.
I definitely agree that there is very little suggestion that there is a new baby. I would still say it could go either way. Though, since they are done now with Captain Swan, because Emma is gone for good somehow, it makes sense to just finish it. Especially, if they intend to continue on with the Hook character for an extended period of time. Though a new child would add a sibling for Henry and give something for Hook who has no connection at all to the characters left on the show. I think that is why i think that it could go either way. Whatever they are going to do with Emma is not going to make sense and will probably being pretty much awful. That has been true for quite a long time, in my opinion, so really that leaves what would a this child do for the show and for the characters left and i think a child could add something. Though, it might make it more difficult for Hook to have a new love interest, which because of how this show is, i think is inevitable. I do think though, if there is a new child, it will be older.
Hook isn’t getting a new LI they couldn’t be more clear that they have no interest giving him one. Especially since it’s very likely this is Colin’s last season, as is Bobby’s as well.
That’s why I said show us the CS HEA in 7×02 in a FF w/ Hook reuniting with Emma and their child and then have the rest of the season be about getting to that point for hook.
Going from Katman’s very clear answer to a CS thing people will love being revealed in the forest scenes with Emma, Henry, and Hook I think it’s very likely she is pregnant. Kat said the thing is very good for CS fans and it also relates to Henry. A brother or sister, does relate to Henry. Colin has also been suggesting heavily that CS have a baby/child.
Eddy also said a kid would be the next step at Comic Con. A baby is a likely way to get Emma off the show, I just hope it’s satisfying cause we get to see at the end Hook reunite with her and their child and they lieve HEA post curse.
If we do not see that reunion, then we will be left wondering if they evern reunite and something like that you need to see on screen.
The flash forward idea is intriguing and could be interesting. Otherwise, actually seeing the Captain Swan reunion would be what I’d want as well, but if JMo doesn’t appear again, I could see their reunion being something where the camera shows Hook and we just hear Emma’s voice saying something so we know they reunited. I could see A&E doing something like that even though it’s less desirable.
They said this episode will please CS fans and Colin said that Hook and Emma are happy and together. To me that means they reunite by the end of the episode.
Now whether it’s FF post curse we see Hook reunite with Emma and their child at the end of the episode or Hook and Emma we see in a FF with their child and the Hook in HH’s is unrelated to either of them. He’s a clone of Hook either created by Henry or accidentally by Emma or Hook.
I really hope they keep Emma alive and we have the same Hook. I would rather her be alive but not present in the show even with a dumb explanation than to have them kill her off or have an alternate version of Hook we have no investment in. I would hope they kept Colin on for S7 because fans have resonated with his character rather than just him as an actor.
The only this fits the quote Adam and Eddy and Colin said to us is if we see CS reunited post curse in a FF in 7×02 at the end of the episode. So we know that everything turned out okay and their now happy, together, and with their family.
If we do not see that reunion, then we will be left wondering if they evern reunite and something like that you need to see on screen. So it would be for the best if we see them reunite at the end of 7×02 and then the rest of the season Hook’s storyline is about getting to that reunion with Emma and their child. That’s the only satisfying conclusion that fits everything the writers and Colin have said.
