I was really really,reaally hoping for no wizard of oz connections in the show (the movie scared me when I was little and it still does 😆 ), but your theory is great and I may just be on board 🙂I agree with SpinningGold, and I don’t think they’re turning hook into a comedy routine at all!
The guy just does things on impulse and the consequences usually end up with him hitting the floor, but the man gets results either way; are we forgetting he managed to hurt rumple twice? 🙂We have seen the side of him that is a man filled with loss,pain and thirsting for revenge, but I love how he is still a charmer no matter how bad things can be
