I felt so sorry for Regina in this episode, she proved she had changed, Henry said so himself, and yet they still shun her.
We have to put up with Heny and Mary Margaret’s holier than thou attitude every damn week. If they were as good as they say they were they would have invited her over. After all she saved their lives. Had Regina not been involved Gold would have carried on regardless and they’d be shish kebab by now, but she saved their sorry arses.
For those saying, oh but she’s done so much bad over the years. Yes because her true love was taking away. We all do crazy things when we’re in love. It’s not out of the ordinary to act out over something like this, the problem is she had magic so she was turbo charged.
She had proven she had changed though, and they still shunned her.
Also I really doubt Henry would really be so attached to Emma rather than Regina. Yes Emma is his birth mother, but he’s only known her a couple of months, whereas Regina actually raised him.
I think the reason why the curse didn’t break fully is because Emma’s love for Henry while strong, wasn’t THE STRONGEST, (how could you have true love for someone you’ve known a couple of months) I think a good twist would be for some stage late in the future, probably final episode for Regina to kiss Henry for whatever reason, and that love is so powerful that it breaks the curse completely and they return to EF

crest1994ParticipantSimilar to how the Giant mentioned that the winner gets to tell the story and that his people weren’t bad, it’s Jack that was, it would be interesting if Peter Pan is bad while Hook is good.
crest1994ParticipantNo we haven’t seen Tinkerbell at all

Rumpel talking to the Blue Fairy is right after he loses Baelfire. His clothes, appearance and voice all place him at that point in the timeline. Regina and Jefferson came 200-250~ years AFTER he lost Bae.
When has there ever been a mention of such a timeline? I didn’t think Rumple had been around that much longer. Surely after 200 years he would assume Bae was dead?
crest1994ParticipantI love your theory!!! It’s so true, so much I haven’t noticed before. And Bae/Jefferson could just not be revealing himself to Rumple as he wants to see how Rumple acts or make him work for the right to see Bae again. Not just giving him an easy ride saying, Papa I’m back, but actually observing him.
crest1994ParticipantAs we’ve seen characters have multiple roles in Enchanted Forrest, such as Rumplestiltskin also being The Beast and The Crocodile. It is likely that Regina will replace Ursula, as the witch who turns Ariel into a human etc.
crest1994ParticipantThey seem to play fast and loose with this. For example, it seems True Love’s Kiss only works the once, hence why Charming couldn’t just kiss Snow when she was cursed to be barren.
crest1994ParticipantI think you get more than one shot at true love. I think when they say “One True Love” it means at this exact moment in time there is No one else you love more deeply than this person. True loves kiss between Emma and Henry for example doesn’t stop Emma from finding a romantic love of her own.
I think it’s perfectly possible that if you lose your true love, you can find someone else. Rumple probably loved Milah, but now he loves Belle. Regina loved Daniel but she’s already tried to find others, like when she tried to seduce David. Ok that wasn’t love, but it certainly means that Regina is looking.
She will find true love again, but probably not until the end of the series. There’s comparisons between magic and drugs, especially in The Doctor, so maybe magic itself is a curse, even though it gives you power. Maybe when Regina finds true love it will take her magic away permanently?

Agree with you, RumplesGirl. ^^ “those spells that have consequences almost written into them”, love this sentence :ugeek:
But when someone looses his arm, that arm is dead. Re attach it should be, as far as i understand it, one of the big spells, since you make a dead limb useful again.
Internal consequences would be also ok with me. If Whale has nightmares afterwards, or becomes a big fan of magic against his own nature, with all the internal conflicts it comes with, or whatever, it would be at least something else than “It was done by a magician”.
Not as funny as having a crazy Whale changing his personality, but fair enough. 😈
Sadly, it seems improbable. And, regarding Crest1994 comment… personally, if I tell someone “you are not my prince” it has the implication of having my own prince. Mainly because it is a negative existential sentence. That means, by saying… “you are not my brother” to a person who claims being my brother, the implication that the hearer percieves is that I have a brother but he is not the person i’m talking with. Because if i had no brother, i would probably answer something like “What brother?” “I have no brother”…etc.
I’m not English native speaker, so I’m just following the rule. 😳 But even if i’m wrong in my guess, at least it seems quite ambiguous.I would never have guessed you weren’t native. I think it may have been done on purpose by the writers as its something ambiguous like you said. It makes a point of debate, is there or isn’t there? Personally, I’m unemployed but I still say to people who tell me what to do, you’re not my boss or something similar, when actually I don’t have any boss. Equally others perceive it as meaning something more, and they could well be right. It’s part of the brilliance of OUAT that nearly every sentence can be analysed and we can draw different conclusions as to what was truly meant.
