Of course magic is a drug, it’s the power to do anything you want, for Regina it did give her freedom like her mother said it would, albeit not as her mother intended.
I think Cora is the main evil, I think she’s not really going to “help” I think she wants to piggyback with Emma and Snow so she can get to Storybrooke and get Regina.
I can picture an epic scene maybe the very final episode ever where Cora goes to kill the one thing Regina loves again (Henry this time) and Regina gets in the way and is killed saving her son from Cora proving she truly loves him and while she’s dying telling Henry she loves him and Henry saying for the first time that he loves her too, she smiles finally realising she has true love and is truly loved and then closes her eyes and dies. I just think this because thinking about the final episode, doubt it can end with the charmings and the evil queen all as one happy family. Plus I think they will build it up so we are all truly sad if/when the Evil Queen dies.
Not sure it would happen, I still think the writers missed a great opportunity in the end of Season 1, Regina should have been the one to kiss Henry, not knowing it would be the true loves kiss that breaks her own curse, it would have been so ironic.

Okay…this is just me being picky but I need to clarify this: No where in the story, the novel, does Dr. Frankenstein lead a lynch mob to destroy the monster.
Try watching the movie instead of reading the book!

There’s already a thread going titled: Who is Dr. Whale: New Points to Consider, where ALL of these points/clues have already been discussed.
The connection between Regina & Dr. Whale is simply that a younger Regina got Jefferson to bring Dr. Frankenstein into FTL to revive Daniel. Yes, Daniel is the monster. We see this 23 seconds into the recent promo clip.
Again, please check out the other thread. You’ll find lots of interesting facts there.
Cheers
First off, are you a moderator or something, I couldn’t tell if you actually had authority or were just mini modding.
2nd can you show me this clip, I’d really like to see it, as far as I’m aware nothing is confirmed this is all just theory, but if I can see this clip maybe that can be another thing to add to the evidence.
EDIT: Just found the clip, you see Regina in her stable gear going down into a sort of dungeon, then there’s some flash, and then you see some guy standing over a body, if you go frame by frame you can see the guy standing over the body is clearly Dr Whale, and the hair of the guy matches Daniel, then to top it all of the, next literally less than a second clip is one of regina kissing daniel in that same stable (its an old clip) hinting further that Daniel is the monster.

He definitely isn’t from Enchanted Forest. The idea of having a Horror Land has me thinking of Nightmare Before Christmas’ Halloweentown – so his ‘prince’ could be some version of Jack: the Pumpkin king.
I guess there was a movement that Whale could be some god from mythology – explaining the god complex/being creepy around mortal women…
But I like the Dr. Frankenstein theory better – has a strong basis and seems very exciting!
Off to look at the doors inside the hat again!
If he had given life to a creature (Frankenstein’s Monster) giving life to something probably would give you a God complex.
Possibly going one step further, what if Frankenstein’s Monster IS David, he told Regina he could bring him back and sort of succeeded, but as a monster, who caused havoc on the land, hence Regina’s comment “listening to you has caused us enough suffering” Presumably the mob led by Dr frankenstein killed the David/monster. Again pure speculation in this paragraph no evidence.

How is Regina not wanting to listen to him talk linked to Frankenstein? I’m not really making that connection. I guess I only assumed it was establishing that they are linked to each other and had past dealings…
This bit hasn’t got evidence, it’s just speculation.
He said barely 2 sentences to her and she replied “Listening to you has caused this town enough suffering” of course it’s meant to look like she’s referring to him there on her porch, but considering he didn’t say that much, I just got the impression she was referring to something else. If he were Frankenstein, it would be an allusion to him creating the monster that plagued the town.
My personal theory is that he’s not from Fairytale land, but from another realm, because Frankenstein isnt a fairytale, its a horror story. let’s call it Horror Land, I think she may have found a way, possibly Jefferson’s hat to bring him to the fairytale realm, hoping he could revive David, when he failed, she probably refused to send him back, hence why he got caught in the curse, and doesn’t recognise Charming as his Prince. This whole paragrah is just my personal guess, I don’t have evidence to back it up, unlike the Dr Whale = Dr Frankenstein theory.

But even watching the episode thinking he’s Dr. Frankenstein, missed the connection of Dr. Whale leading the mob!
In the story of Frankenstein, Dr Frankenstein leads a town lynch mob to go and destroy the monster he created. In this episode Dr Whale leads a town lynch mob to go and kill Regina. Also Regina saying the town had “suffered enough listening to you” was probably a hint. The reason he didn’t want to give his identity is because he is ashamed of what he did, and the reason that they don’t recognize him is probably because he spends so much time in his lab.
I think the name link is probably the best clear link. james WHALE directing/creating Frankenstein. DR Whale = Dr Frankenstein.
