Reviews, theories, and talk about ABC's Once Upon a Time TV show
So you think Lily being named after the antagonist character in Black Swan is purely coincidence? And that the random biblical reference is more plausible? Okay.
How does that explain her lack of aging between then and present day?
We’ll come back to this when my theory is proven true in the finale.
I think you should watch the scene over again. As soon as the ink spills, her voice changes and it is nothing like the Dance hall voice. Also, if the dance hall voice was an allusion to her sociopathy, why didn’t she use the same voice during her evil, maniacle monologue right before the ink spilled and the author caught her sewing after killing her mother?
Nevertheless, it’s still true that the ink transformed her into the the present-day Cruella, even though this supposedly happened when she was a 20-something. Present day Cruella is definitely not a 20-something, but is definitely the same as the transformed Cruella.
I’m going with fairy tale connections over biblical ones, given the nature of the show.
LOL Rumple set it up. Well now, I’m more convinced of the switched as babies’ theories.
The hair color could be a subtle clue that Emma is really Maleficent’s child and Lily is really the Charmings’.
I’m not saying that because she has light hair and everyone else in the family has dark hair, she MUST be Maleficent’s daughter, but it could be a clue. Also Emma looks more like Maleficent to me( Though, Lily looks nothing like Snow or Charming)
@RumplesGirl — Thanks, but I’m thinking the Black Swan connection is only by the name Lily and the connection to Swan Lake. Even though in the film Nina internalizes both the swans, I’m guessing that if the Emma/Lilly/ Swan Lake theory is true, the Black Swan connection stops there. It wouldn’t be a direct parallel.
ALSO:
Snow White and Charming have dark hair. So does Henry. Emma is the only blond, and also Maleficent. Lilly has dark hair.
How did Regina obtain Henry, again?
