And even further on the spiritual level, our SB friends didn’t know who they were (Children of God, not just slaves to religion and sin- a big theme in the New Testament) and were awakened to their true identity because of the Savior instead of a slave to the lie that they are bound to identities that just caused pain.

There are deep elements here woven into her role and identity … Even though it seems lately it hasn’t been alluded to very much.

In multiple recent articles, Adam and Eddy state her walls are growing higher because of Neal’s death. That isn’t unhealthy. That’s a natural response to a loved-one dying. It’s not unhealthy if you both love each other, as Emma stated she never stopped loving him. It would be unhealthy for sure if it was unrequited, Neal had married Tamara, the relationship was abusive, etc. But say they had reconciled and moved into a relationship again. Reconciliation and restoration of a past good relationship isn’t unhealthy just because there was a relationship in the past. It takes more than just history for a relationship or a continued love for someone to be unhealthy. Emma couldn’t help she still loved him. And there is nothing wrong with that. It isn’t unhealthy. It just is what it is.

TW makes a great case. No magic= not enough to sustain life within the curse. When magic was brought and charming was under, it was fine.

I think the simplest answer is the correct one. For the general audience, flat line=death. They sure made it appear like he died, so I have to believe that is what they were trying to communicate with the audience; it was clear, because one moment they’re sad enough that he is in a sleeping curse… the next moment they’re devastated because he is actually dead.
I think because he died from magic, a curse, the kiss worked. Death was the consequence of the curse. The curse itself was broken, bringing henry back to life.

They’ve broken their own rules plenty of times. And keep in mind, Emma had not moved on from Neal. She said she never did even when she thought he had left her during the events of Tallahassee. The only different denominator in her being able to have a semi-successful relationship with Walsh was keeping Henry. That is what made her open to it. Not that she had moved on from Neal. Because all those memories were fake. According to Emma’s own words, as soon as she saw him again in Manhattan, she knew she never moved on and never stopped loving him. And yes she was in a relationship with Walsh, but she was unsure about it all. Even when he proposed. We know Emma had one night stands and such as she said back in S1. Henry was the differentiating factor in her being able to have a longer relationship, not Neal. And besides. He was a monkey. Zelena knew what they needed to do to keep Emma on Walsh.

They actually haven’t wrapped yet, and according to Adam, are filming a very important scene in studio.

(This is where I get very frustrated with the paps who communicate in absolutes. They really have no way of knowing what is really up. Some humility would be nice…”It appears they have wrapped, but there could be filming I don’t know about…” Instead they fight tooth and nail that they are right when really… they have no way of knowing for sure… This is why I always take what they say with a grain of salt.)

@e_vanquill in studio. we're shooting into tomorrow!

You don’t die for good from a sleeping curse, though. Henry flat lining was the sleeping curse taking full effect. That’s how I took it at least. So yes he was in a state of death, but he was essentially in limbo

It is my understanding that he did die, because Regina said she didn’t know what would happen because magic is different there and unpredictable…after Emma said, “what’s gonna happen to him!?!?”  That led me to believe she didn’t know what would happen but that there was a possibility of him dying.

I know it’s a common symbol, but the outside of the vault had the all-seeing eye as well. So you have the triangle, the all-seeing eye, and a form of a sun in both scenes/eps. Just found that interesting.

source The costume choice is seriously…interesting. I’ve always associated that blue like Emma’s cloak with Nealfire, because of his scarves. His FTL cloak in S3B had that deep blue mixed with the gold, and the blue trim around the edge.

    O___O WOW.
