@yvrshoots It looks like OUAT is filming at Swangard Staduim in Burnaby. Lots of trucks and Stage 49 signage spotted in the area.

Ha! I was getting ready to post the quote from the book about Glinda and the slippers, but looks like I was beat to the punch 🙂 The phrase “curious things” was used multiple times in the books as my own search found, but the one pertaining to Glinda and the slippers was definitely the most profound to me, considering we will be meetin g Glinda this ep. I’m on my phone right now so if I post the screenshots for the other references just for fun they will be gigantic . I’ll get online and post them in a few.

Nahhhhhh It would help if I didn’t keep trying to throw cold water on my shipmates. I’m honestly not trying to bring people down or have them defend SF to me (obviously there is no need for the latter). Is this hiatus over yet?
It’s ok!!! We all are there at some point! That’s what this thread is for! You may feel like you’re throwing cold water on us but we’re all cozy warm with our fire and are more than happy to throw some flames on anyone who needs 🙂 I know I’ve needed some lately! We all do at some point or another. I don’t want anyone to feel like they can’t come here and express their discouragement and the reasons for it. Especially because I know I need to come do that sometimes too! We are all stronger together.

I watched the Cricket Game today. Something Mr. Gold says about the dreamcatcher really stuck with me. I had just read all of the new (and drudged up) stuff about New York City Serenade, and so it was especially meaningful for me to be reminded of this:
From The Cricket Game:
Mr. Gold: Do you know what this is?
Emma: A dreamcatcher…
Mr. Gold: Well… it’s capable of catching so much more.
Belle: What is that?
Mr. Gold: Memories.This scene in the Cricket Game taught us that dreamcatchers catch not only dreams, but memories too.
Emma has lost her memories, and she’s going to be returning to the object that has captured so many memories of hers and Neal’s.Emma’s face when Mr. Gold brings it out, and the way she says dreamcatcher, it seems like she is having to catch her breath. She is taken aback by it. This is such a significant object for the both of them. It has captured who she was, who she wanted to be, and who she is.
I love that it keeps popping up, but I love even more that we got this tidbit from Mr. Gold, way back in S2 to let us know it captures memories as well as dreams. I think it is quite legitimate to theorize that it helps trigger her memories, because dreamcatchers being memory-triggers/keepers has been established in the mythology of this show. I really don’t know why people who theorize this way are being treated as if it’s impossible. Just because it may seem “shippy” doesn’t mean it has no bearing. It’s been established in the show!
Anyway. It will be interesting to see how it’s handled.. 😀

It’s wouldn’t be at all, because Rumple sacrificed himself to give his son another shot happiness, just not with him. To kill Neal off now would be to discount all of that S3 build up for Neal getting another go at things with his family and would also drastically alter Emma’s idea of home and would be the end of hope for a happy ending.
The fact that Rumple said what he did in 3×11 about Neal, and the fact that they went into season 3 knowing which character would die towards the end is HUGE to me. I don’t see the reason at all for Rumple saying that and making a big deal about Neal’s happy ending. If it’s him, they knew it then. Why even put a line like that in there? I don’t know… there’s just so much IN THE STORY to point away from Neal. I’d rather not deal with technicalities of individual words and phrases and whatnot to try and get a clue about the death. I see it all and it makes me sad. And sure it makes me afraid. But I have to keep reminding myself of the logical side.. the storyline and what we’ve seen and the theme of the overall season. Adam says the word “Car” in an interview and people will think he’s trying to secretly say Neal is dying because we first saw him in a car. You know? It is so stressful for me to get involved with that kind of thinking. I choose hope. Even though I still get bothered by everything, even though I still get sad… I choose to remind myself of the things I’ve seen and the things that are certain and the things that I DO know. That’s how we stay sane in the midst of this craziness.
