Actually, this conversation made me wonder how Disney’s relationship was with MGM after changing their park from MGM to Hollywood Studios. So, I did some digging. Learned some interesting stuff.
I was wondering why they were able to keep much of the movie scenes in “The Great Movie Ride”, but found out that Warner Bros. owns most of the MGM classics.Turner bought MGM and sold back everything but the classics to MGM’s founder— pre-1986 movies– and then in 1996 merged with Time Warner.

I think that’s true and it’s why I think this is going to be a father-son dynamic for Hook and his dad.
Maybe it parallels Hook and Nealfire in the present. Once long ago Hook did almost give up everything to raise Bae.

I do agree though, feels strange we didn’t hear about Liam, and have only heard one sentence about Hook’s father, if that is indeed where they are going this ep.EDit: I mean, they could also have David Goodman just write about something completely different than usual. Who knows. AHHH

Hello! I am here to let you guys know, the person who chose last night for #HopeForSwanfire had no idea it was Colin’s birthday… she had planned it for a while and she even posted on Sunday morning when she found out. We obviously didn’t want to rain on anyone’s parade (and many SFs are huge fans of Colin, too.) Naturally, she kept the date because it had already been planned. But I can guarantee, just like her and myself, most of us had no idea it was Colin’s birthday, and had she, she would have set it for a different day. It wasn’t out of hate, it was because we didn’t know. In most of our minds, we can separate Colin from Hook and would never dream of doing something like that deliberately to a human being. I hope this puts your minds at ease, and know it was just an innocent mistake. <3

The little car that could…. Maybe 20 pages back or so Phee made a comment about how she really needs a flashback of Emma taking the car into a shop and having the mechanic tell her that the car was too old to repair and she was better off without it. And Emma told the mechanic “do whatever it takes. Whatever the cost. I’m keeping my car.” That car is so old and probably not in the best condition. Yet Emma took time and money and made sure it stayed in good condition. That’s love.
To add to this line of thinking, Volkswagens, at least in the U.S., are very very expensive to repair or have any sort of work done on. Parts and labor are both expensive. Add to that an older Beetle model such as Emma’s and you have a money hog for sure.
Side note: We used to have an older model someone practically gave to my dad. Downside: it had a giant black widow nest in it that was near impossible to get rid of. *shudder*. We eventually gave it away but now I wish my dad still had it 🙂
Also, I love those gifs of SSTR. Emma’s face after Neal says “I love you too” is like so happy and so full of sorrow at the same time. Jen did such a great job portraying that combination.
