ParticipantAccording to Wendy, the shadow started appearing around the same time Bae arrived. So perhaps he was combing London for boys because he can sense blood lines and obviously Baelfire is Henry’s father… kind of like the globe, it leads you to blood relatives… so he was combing through the homes of London because he knew at least that was the general area… ?

#3 seems to be something we’ve mentioned in other places, the idea that “Pan” is a title passed down. So there is not an actual Peter Pan, but rather a powerful fairy/shadow creature called the Pan who has magical powers. Whoever captures the shadow can use it for their own devices, controlling the shadow. Know what this sounds like? The dagger. Whoever has the dagger can use control the Dark One; whoever has the shadow controls it. If Bae eventually captures the shadow and controls it, at some point the implications that he has become like his father would hit. And maybe that is what caused him to leave NL and return to our world.

That is brilliant. Way to go RG!

Yes, speculating is always fun! 🙂 Did you notice that Baelfire has on the same pajamas in NL (under his pirate outfit) as he had on in the Darling household?
http://www.spoilertv.co.uk/images/once-upon-a-time/Season%202/Set%20Photos/Lost%20Boys/VCF_26032013_OUAT_16.jpg.phpI did notice that at work today and got a little giggle out of it. 😆
Also, what is he holding here? Logical= bread but doesn’t look like it. I wonder what it could be… with the way their hands are..[attachment=0:3rrw7ut3]Screenshot_2013-05-01-22-53-07-1_20130502010503842.jpg[/attachment:3rrw7ut3]

ParticipantI enjoyed their interactions this past ep. Never really enjoyed the thought until “The Evil Queen”. He could be her hero in this moment, and Regina desperately needs one. I liked the common thread they had about revenge. I think its something that could be explored. Regina has a ton of walls too. I mean she lies about everything (my husband and I were listing them the other day). She lies about stuff that doesn’t even matter! Lol. And that is indicative of the amount of walls she has up and I could tell in her face and her eyes (let’s give it up for Lana Parilla’s acting skills) that she was letting herself be a little vulnerable in the way she was listening to Hook speak.
And in the way she was trying to tell him, “you don't even know these people, why do you trust them?”
I enjoyed that line from her. She amazes me how she is able to act the cookies out of small simple lines like that.A thought to add: I am looking forward to Hook’s “moment of truth” and I think the whole GOAT ordeal will kick him into gear as far as realizing what is at stake for everyone. After last week’s ep he is already well on his way.

I know it’s a Swanfire scene. I feel people are perceiving it as “Swanfire has won” moment.
It’s a little victory in that it’s official confirmation that Neal at least hasn’t moved on. This indicates that the SwanFire romance isn’t dead in the water, and that it’s a theme they intend to explore.
The way I could see this playing out is that Neal’s confession freaks Emma out, because she’s reeling that he still has feelings for her like she still has feelings for him, and the potential of trying again is sort of scary, which is why she’s been trying to deny it to herself up until now.
I don’t think that this scene will end with a big, happy, loved up reunion. I think that this may well be the last time Emma (or anyone else) sees him before he disappears to wherever MAPvillie ends up being. So if they argue here, and then he disappears, that’s angst for Emma over the last words she said to someone she cared about having been said in anger, and also regret if she doesn’t confess her true feelings back to him when she has the chance.
Losing Neal all over again will drive her to find someone to grab onto to steady and distract herself, someone she can express all her pent up emotions with, and that person will be Hook. Then once CaptainSwan get into the swing of things, Neal will show up again and Emma will get thrown for yet another emo loop, because there’s still so much unresolved between SwanFire, and they won’t be able to ignore it.
Then there’ll be a Shipping War to rival the Ogres Wars.
PS. My browser is a CaptainSwan shipper, because it crashed right after I’d watched the clip. 😛
Well said, Phee. I wrote like, 50 replies initially but deleted them all and gave up. 😆

agreed, I think most SwanFires know the rocky road that is ahead and that this scene will lead to that rocky road! 😥 *feeeeels*
I’m one of those Swanfire fans that completely accepts, and doesn’t mind a little Captain Swan. I completely understand it. I see at the very least flirtations on the horizon, and I’m sure I’ll enjoy it in a way. It’s not about Swanfire “winning” for me, It’s enjoying the story, regardless of my OTP. 🙂 Just how I personally watch shows I guess.

ParticipantThis has been ten years in the making. I’m glad Emma will be getting some answers. TEN YEARS !
I think he addresses why he didn’t come back after the curse, at least that is my inference. He was afraid she’d never forgive him. Idk if that’s specifically what he was talking about and I’m sure that’s not all there is to it *ahem* evil Tamara *ahem* but… can’t wait for this! This is actually vital to the show as a whole as well.
