That could be possible, especially if she meets August while he’s turning back into wood and learns that magic is what cures him. In the promo, it looks like August meets a healer in Puket who tells him that only following through on his responsibilities will heal him (AKA: getting Emma to break the curse). So, if Tamara knows that, she could have started to plot and plan to take the magic from SB to heal her. We do hear August’s voiceover ask if (someone) is planning to steal the magic of SB.

Yeah, almost as if in saying “you deserve your fate”, she is implying he shouldn’t get the magic but she should. Nice theory!

First, I just want to write that I was hoping that Tamara wouldn’t be evil because I don’t really feel like she was a threat to SwanFire, so I just wanted her to be a cool character in her own right since this show doesn’t really use that many POC, and when they do, they usually either die quickly, are evil, or get to be back up to the white characters.

Since it doesn’t look like that is going to happen though, I think this theory could come true. Remember that OUaT loves to do foreshadowing like how Baelfire turned out to be Neal, or how Greg turned out to be Owen, or how we were told Rumple can make someone younger again which is foreshadowing August becoming a boy again in the next episode, well tonight we were introduced to the idea that with the right spell someone can make someone else love someone even if it’s not “true love”. Obviously, this will come up again because it’s too important for them not to return to the idea.

Now remember the casting call for Tamara,

She’s beautiful, artistic, relaxed, friendly, charming and smart. She’s also ambitious, fearless and a born leader, and she won’t stop until she gets what she wants.

I still believe that she is Tinkerbell, so this would fit in nicely with that if Nealfire is Peter, or possibly if she’s using Neal just to find the real Peter.

The spell came up in my mind as well! It would definitely make sense for us to see the Empty-Hearted spell come up again. And after all, she did run STRAIGHT into Neal. Curse application, perhaps??
And Rumple does have an aversion to fairies. Maybe she’s the reason? Dark fairy? If so I bet she’s fooling August because don’t think he’d knowingly work with dark magic. I think August just thinks she’s helping him [speaking as if its pre-The Return] with Rumple/dagger so he can get magic so he won’t be wood. And she wants magic, obviously, because if we are all correct, August asks her why she would want to steal magic. Maybe she confesses, “I did all this to steal magic”.

Aaand cue: *sneaky fairy is sneaky*

So… “long time no see” to August, And it sounds like news to him that she wants to steal magic from SB…. even though they’ve “known” each other….yup I smell a villain 😈

Speaking of Wicked witch of the West, I found it interesting that Kurt used the words, “It’s like someone dropped a town on us.” I guess the whole questioning whether Greg was Oz probably heightened my senses but it was interesting that this is how he chose to word it.

I feel like its kind of just natural consequences. Like, there are reasons there are rules. Not just because there’s a list somewhere someone just made up, but because there’s a reason. As children and youth pastors, we try to explain to the young children(5-11) we work with this principle instead of always saying “dont do this, stop doing that” etc . A biggie is leaving the room without asking. We tell them why they shouldn’t do that and why they have been disciplined. Its not because we just want to control them. Its for their safety. So the natural consequences of wondering about by themselves would be : they get kidnapped and worse. They get into something they shouldnt and get injured. Etc. That’s the price of their disobedience. Sure. they have fun for a moment but what if that running away fun is halted to a stop by tragedy? Was the fun worth it? . They don’t get the protection that comes with someone who loves them looking out for them.
I don’t think any of Regina’s prices she has paid for the curse has been worth what she has gotten in return.

For all of us there are natural consequences. Don’t do homework? Get a zero. Do your homework = get credit toward your grade for the class.

I think they just don’t use the same lingo for light magic because its obvious that the benefit they receive from the light magic is sort of the “consequence”. They used light magic with love so the consequence is good.

I’ll have to go back to other instances like the BF. Has she ever said the price thing? Other than when “she” was Cora? Cant recall.
