Welcome! I have a friend whose favorite fairy tale is Beauty and the Beast. She loves Belle but hates Rumple because of the whole him being Beast thing. haha. Although since Manhattan, she is “okay with it” now. 😉

As we have seen and heard many times, it has been made very clear esp in Manhattan that Nealfire believes in destiny. August told Neal this was about her destiny. I think that won out.
Here’s the deal. Yeah I’m sure he was afraid that someone actually knew his name and of his father finding him.
But I don’t think that is what made him give her up. He could have sold the watches with Emma, had some $$ and ran off, the curse never being broken and Rumple never getting out of Storybrooke nor ever getting back his memories to find his son. So if he was being selfish, and feared for himself due to his father, I think he would have just not listened to Pinocchio, because as long as the curse was enacted he wouldn’t have to worry about his father.Now, granted, we don’t know how much he was told about the curse, and we haven’t been told yet how August even found them in the first place. But I hope we will find all that out soon!

Was too scared? He was told he would have to leave the picture in order for her to get her life back. Yes he was told by Pinocchio 😆 but he was told it wasn’t negotiable. That there wasn’t a choice for him to stay with her. He gave her all the money, he gave her the car… He made it more than clear that he would have stuck with her, if that is what she needed. He told August, “I can help her”. August made it clear that he couldn’t.
He was willing to give her up to save her life before he even had his encounter with August. When they found the wanted poster. We already witnessed selfless love. Love that didn’t want Emma to get in trouble for something he had done. IMO, He didn’t let her take the blame out of fear for himself. He’s willing to give her up so she doesn’t get in trouble in one scene, and in the next after August’s meeting, all of a sudden, he gives her up out of fear and let’s her take the blame out of selfishness?
I believe it is consistent selflessness.
Also, Giving her up wasn’t only about helping Emma. It was about helping a town full of people from a land he grew up in. From a land he wanted to forget, that he ran away from. But he let her go. <3 To save all of them.

The thought did come to my mind. I lived in the Disney area for almost all of my 25 years (until moving in Oct) so it definitely stuck out to me! 🙂
407 was my area code for a long time until they changed it to 321closer to the coast in honor of the space program, and for area code relief. 😆

OK, so watching The Stable Boy (as I type) I noticed that when King Leopold comes to ask for Regina’s hand, he looks at Cora strangely when he says, “We lost her mother years ago.” And, “We have…scoured the land…”
I could be reading way too much into this, but if the theory is correct about Cora killing Eva, perhaps this was an early hint?
If Cora did kill Eva, would King Leopold even have known?

Hopefully she’s Tinkerbell and the whole “doesn’t stop til she gets what she wants” thing will be her as this master manipulator. I don’t know. Ugh. WHYYY does she come to Storybrooke??
Maybe BF put a bug in her little fellow fairy’s ear. I mean, if Emma and Nealfire Pan are true love, it’s not like we haven’t seen BF keep apart true love before. And we still haven’t seen the whole story about her personal agenda behind that one yet.
