As it turns out, I wasn’t the first one with this theory. I listened to the Roney’s OUAT Fan podcast “first thoughts” (their equivalent to our initial reactions) and Colleen had a very similar theory.

Fate/destiny with the precise timing of something at just the right place are staples of amazing stories.
Like the ring from The Lord of the Rings, maybe the magic inside Emma wants to be in Storybrooke. Maybe there’s something that led her to meet Neal.

I had carefully examined screenshots from “Tallahassee” and had concluded that it was the typewriter. And one of our listeners had made a prediction way back then that proved to be very accurate!
Honestly, I was hoping for something more interesting.
I couldn’t tell yet whether it’s the same book from “7:15 a.m.” If it is, then it has production crew names on it.
I love it! I’ll try to look for an easier, more updatable technology to do this so we can have it online and update it as needed.
I could see a place for this. But I think it would fit well to merge into “Actor/Character discussion.” What do you think?
