OMG, it’s been such a long time sense I’ve visited these forums. But all I can say right now is HOOOOOOOKKK!!! I can already tell this guy is going to become my new favorite villain. And whose bright idea was it to make Hook so freaking hot?
And my poor Rumpel. 😥 His character centric episodes always get to me. Especially the ones that take place before he became the Dark One. So, I’m fully expecting this one to be a heartbreaker for me. I’m also excited to see how his relationship with Belle will progress in this episode.
And as far as Hook being “worse than Rumpel,”…WOW. I have to see this for myself. There’s a part of me that says anything’s possible, but there’s also that part of me that says it was probably just an empty promotional line. So we’ll see.
P.S. LOVED the Canadian promo! So much Rumbelle sweetness. 😀

Please tell me if this has already been mentioned. I wasn’t able to read all of the posts fully.
Remember in “Hat Trick” when the Queen of Hearts was so interested in how Jefferson got to Storybrooke? Remember, also, how much she wanted him to make another hat that would work? I think this is further evidence that Cora is the Queen of Hearts and she wants out of Wonderland, the “annoying little world.”
I think Jefferson may have succeeded in creating a hat that worked and that’s what Cora used to get back to Enchanted Forest either just before the curse struck, or after the curse was weakened from Emma’s arrival in Storybrooke.
Has anyone else raised this idea?

I thought Mr. Gold had specifically said that he didn’t intend on returning to the Enchanted Forest.
Also remember that Jefferson was pulled from Wonderland into Storybrooke. And the fact that no one, except apparently Regina, knows who Dr. Whale is, I’m thinking he’s from a different fairy tale land, too.

Did you hear our initial reactions podcast? We realized that FTL and SB are, once again, not parallel with each other, their sequential. Rip all the FTL scenes out of the episode and place them AFTER the Storybrooke scenes. Now it makes sense:
- SB: The wraith wears the medallion after Gold summoned it.
- FTL: Prince Philip and Mulan find Aurora.
- SB: The wraith gets sucked into the hat, taking Emma and Snow with it.
- FTL: Mulan senses a disturbance and then the Wraith, Snow, and Emma break through the ground. But Emma and Snow are unconscious.
- FTL: Everything else happens in FTL, and after a day, they come back to the castle and find Snow and Emma.

This new man looks to be in his 20s or 30s. If he’s Bae, then it would mean that Bae came to our world about halfway through Storybrooke’s existence.
Remember that in “Desperate Souls,” Bae turned 14 and the curse was in place for 28 years. So if Rumplestiltskin designed the curse to take everyone to when Bae came through, then Bae would be 42 years old.
But I don’t think there’s enough evidence that Rumplestiltskin designed the curse with perfect accuracy in its target timing. So everyone may have come 14 years before Bae.
(Isn’t interested that 28 is double Bae’s age when he went down the bean hole?)
