Hello Rumpel lovers! I’m new here, so please bare with me. I’ll try to answer 1 or 2 questions from the OP. 😉
1. What was Rumpelstiltskin’s reasoning for creating the Dark Curse?
I think Rumpel’s reasoning behind creating the Dark Curse are much different from the Evil Queen’s reasoning for casting the Dark Curse. I think Rumpel created the curse for himself rather than pure evil. The Evil Queen on the other hand is using it as a weapon for evil. I like the theory that Rumpel gave the Evil Queen the wrong ingredients as a means to not only protect the real curse and his own power, but for revenge on the Evil Queen for turning Belle against him. I think we’ll find out towards the end of the season that the real key ingredient to the Dark Curse was in fact true love, and not the heart of the person you love most. Rumpel wouldn’t have even been able to test the curse himself because aeveryone he loved was dead. So, I think Rumpel pulled a fast one over Regina. 😉
11. What happened to Rumpelstiltskin’s son Bae?
I love the theory that Baelfire ran away to join the fairies in Neverland and became Peter Pan. He’s the perfect candidate for a Lost Boy. For one, he’s a little boy. 😆 And two, he probably became disillusioned with his father after he became the Dark One. The kind, loving man he once was melted away as soon as he became the Dark One. This probably terrified Baelfire and resulted in him running away to Neverland.
That title and others I saw were what made me launch these forums, which I then had to quickly rename. But I decided to leave the forums anyway, for when we do have stuff to talk about, or start guessing.
Welcome! I like Mr. Gold and August, too, but totally not for the same reasons as most of the female watchers. I just think they’re cool guys.
