I thought I had this setup right, but I didn’t. So it’s fixed now and registered members can post polls.
[adrotate group="5"]Daniel J. LewisKeymasterThank Jeremy for posting this last one. I edited and uploaded the audio, but didn’t get to write the shownotes because I had an all-day conference last Thursday.
I prefer to post each new podcast episode on the evening that we record. But you’ve seen our shownotes. Not only is there audio editing, but a lot of image-uploading, and writing of shownotes. I’d love it if someone from our community could take notes during the live show and help us post quicker.

Where can I post a new topic about this last episode? I can see the threads relating to ‘Skin Deep’ but not the forum where all the threads are located.
Sorry I missed your question! Did you find the right place after all?
Daniel J. LewisKeymasterI’m a bit disappointed with how casting is going for Once Upon a Time. If they plan to reveal a new fairytale character in Storybrooke, I wish they had the foresight to cast them early and have them in tiny, insignificant appearances throughout the episodes. They kind of did this with the dwarfs, but not with anyone else.
- Frederick didn’t appear in Storybrooke until “What Happened to Frederick.”
- Hansel and Gretel and their father only appeared in Storybrooke in “True North,” and never since.
- Belle’s father didn’t appear in Storybrooke until “Skin Deep.”
So I hate seeing casting calls for upcoming episodes, knowing that they didn’t already have those people picked out and placed.
So it seems the only repeating characters whose origin we haven’t known is Dr. Whale. So I can appreciate that he’s not just an extra.
Daniel J. LewisKeymasterFortuna, you’re getting a reputation for awesome research. 🙂

Thanks for posting these! Turns out, we were wrong. Jane Espenson had apparently tweeted that Gaston was actually transformed into the flower.
I really liked Jeff and Colleen’s smoke theories.
Daniel J. LewisKeymasterYes, we had noticed that, too. Oops.
Daniel J. LewisKeymasterHey! You look just like a particular queen I know. Decent lady, but not good with kids. 🙂
Daniel J. LewisKeymasterWow! What a connection! Excellent thoughts and good research.
I’m in the camp that thinks Baelfire isn’t a significant character. But I’d be happy to be proved wrong.
Daniel J. LewisKeymasterGreat first post, IndyandMarion!
So far, we can explain why Emma crashed while trying to leave: a wolf in the road.
We can also explain why Ashley crashed: labor pains were too much and she lost control.
But there’s no “logical” explanation for Kathryn’s crash. I like the theories so far. Maybe the next episode will be of another search party in the woods—this time for Kathryn instead of David. Odd turn of events?
