I don’t think August has met Bae. August asks Gold, “Do I look like him at all, ” which suggests he’s never seen Bae. But I’m betting Mother Superior knows where Bae is, along with a whole lot of other major info about FTL.
The idea of Gold getting to SB before Bae is cool, but wouldn’t Gold have said “I’ve been waiting for you” instead of “I’ve been looking for you”? And wouldn’t he stay put instead of taking a trip?
[adrotate group="5"]In light of the revelation from Kitsis & Horowitz that Gold didn’t remember FTL until Emma arrived, I’d like to amend my prediction: Mother Superior, not Gold, was the mastermind behind Regina’s adoption of Henry.
Another prediction: the last voice we hear in the series will be Rumple’s (perhaps a giggle).

Rumple at his wheel is spinning gold when Jiminy arrives with stolen goods. Rumple perceves that Jiminy wants a deal. Jiminy wants to be free of his parents. Rumple conjures a potion from gold and promises it will give Jiminy his freedom (again we see that people must be clear and specific in dealing with Rumple or they may get something they don’t expect.) Since Jiminy has nothing to pay, Rumple tells him to “leave (his parents) where they are” and Rumple will take them–which should have made it obvious to Jiminy that the couple would be dead or incapacitated. Jiminy asks what will happen to his parents. Rumple is vague and Jiminy doesn’t press for an answer.In Gold’s shop, we see the puppets that Geppetto’s parents became.

Perhaps while he was in prison, Rumple planted two bits of information so deep into his subconcious that the curse didn’t fog them over. One of those bits would be the name trigger; the other, a command to find Henry (assuming he saw that far into the future).
Or perhaps he didn’t find Henry. Perhaps MS did and arranged for Gold to “procure” him…without Gold being aware of the arranger behind the curtain.
Rewatching this episode, I’m convinced MS knows exactly who she is and who everyone else is. Pinnicchio came to SB at age 7; the information that August has about Rumple and Bae is too sophisticated to have been learned through childhood tales. To understand not only what the dagger is and how it works, but also the complex relationship between Rumple and Bae –that,’s adult-level stuff. Pinnochio may have come to SB knowing a few tales about Rumple, but most of what August knows, I’m convinced, is recent knowledge gained from Mother Superior.
I hope we get to see the origins of Regina and Malificent’s friendship. They remind me of old friends who went to school together, Mal being the one who took notes in class, studied for all the exams, and was never tardy, while Regina cut class to smoke out in the parking lot, copied other students’ papers and blew up the lab during potions class.
I’ve been a great admirer of the hair styles on this show, but I have noticed that the nastier EQ gets, the wilder her hair gets. And I agree about Snow’s wedding hair–it needs some conditioner.
