ONCE - Once Upon a Time podcast
Reviews, theories, and talk about ABC's Once Upon a Time TV show
I keep thinking about this connection Rumple and Snow seem to have…how, when he talks to her there’s a tenderness in his tone, and he seems to give her generous discounts on their deals. And then there’s this quirky thing they both do: after taking James’ cloak, Rumple sniffs it–and MM did the same thing with Emma’s baby blanket after Emma told her Henry thinks she and Emma are mother and daughter. I can’t help but feel Rumple and Snow are kin or kin-in-law, but I have nothing to support that.
Then again he could be Dorothy, who is from Kansas. arrives in a storm and kills the witch with water and who wants magic to take her home…

That would explain his affinity to water!
That fact is the entire sum of my evidence, but I rest my case anyway!
That would be brilliant, Snowfan. I’d love to see Ruby involved in the search too.
Interesting that no one’s asked if David/Charming and MM/Snow will have a HEA. Do we all feel that’s. a given?
Oh, and another one that’s bothered me: why doesn’t Gold have a first name?
The more we learn of Bae, the more I wonder about his mother and her involvement in his upbringing. Especially if, as some have speculated, his mother is Cora. Any thoughts? Was this courageous, noble-spirited boy raised entirely by his father, or, if mom raised him and left him late in the game, what does that say for the mom-is-Cora theory?
Very interesting theory! And not out of character for the Lost writers to develop a Sawyer-style long con for Rumple.
How did Regina acquire her magic?
What is the full story behind the Rumple-Regina rivalry?
Will Regina and/or Gold be redeemed in the end?
Why did Gold keep the dagger?
When the curse is broken, will anyone return to FTL?
Why is the library closed?
How did Rumple transport the keepsakes from FTL to SB and why?
I’m going waaay out on a limb here, but…I call that August is Ariel and the leg pains come from the fact that he/she is reverting to the mermaid state.
Maybe there’s an easy answer to this question that has simply escaped me (easy answers being so plentiful in OUAT ;)) but since, after watching this episode a bunch of times, it still bugs me, I’m. going to ask. Why didn’t Cora use her magic and Henry’s influence to raise Daniel to a high position? Did anyone catch something in the episode that would indicate Daniel (or Regina) had considered that possibility and rejected it? Seems like Cora didn’t care whom Regina married as long as the man had position, so why couldn’t Daniel be that man?
