ParticipantYup, same here. It’s too tough to choose #2.

ParticipantWe know that parents and their kids can have TL; how about grannies and granddaughters? It would be great if Granny could break Red’s curse.

This is an idea I stole from another thread. Sorry, A_Desperate_Soul. But thinking of my theft as a compliment to your brilliant theory. 😀
I call that only those who possess true love in their lives (lovers, children) will be able to use the magic of true love. Regina will ironically be the only one left out.
Archie, Ruby (unless you count Granny’s love as true love), Whale and Mother Superior are all singles. Hey, I bet Rumple will consider that a bonus: the BF doesn’t get her magic back (although Astrid might). Will Belle, Emma and Henry be able to tap into the magic? I can imagine dinnertime at Emma’s: she goes into the kitchen to bring out the main course and that serving of broccoli on Henry’s plate suddenly changes into an Apollo bar.

ParticipantEver since we met the shepherd, the back of my brain’s been telling me that there’s a blood relationship between Rumple and Charming. The finale doubly reinforced that feeling. Rumple treats Charming and Snow as more than clients: his whole tone with them is different than with anyone else. It could be just because they’re the parents-to-be of the savior; it could be because the things they ask from him are less superficial and less selfish than the things he’s usually asked for. But that doesn’t completely cover it for me. I’m still driven to think Rumple and Charming are kin. The finale really sewed it up for me: Rumple actually allowed Charming to see his human side–he hadn’t done that for anyone since Belle. In talking about Belle, he tried to be his usual sarcastic self, but just couldn’t. And the advice about love he gives Charming (and likewise, the advice Gold gives to David in the Valentine-buying scene) is downright fatherly. Rumple also spends quite a bit of time with Charming, compared to his other clients.
So I’ve been trying to find a way to make it work that Charming could be Rumple’s son, but I never could force that theory to life. But the idea of Bae being Henry’s father enables my theory to be partially true. If Rumple could see Charming’s future, perhaps he saw Henry there, and perhaps he recognized Henry as Bae’s son. If he could see that far ahead, he would be doubly motivated to help his future in-laws, and doubly impatient for Regina to activate the curse, knowing which of the lands without magic Bae had gone to.

Emma: Um, because she’s freaking Emma.
Cora- Ok, don’t throw tomatoes at me, let me explain. I hate Cora’s character, but I love just how evil she was.I know what you mean about Cora: it’s obvious she’s just oozing with magic; I ‘m curious to see more of her abilities (as in a big ol’ firefight with Rumple). And I want to know how she got so powerful and so nasty…and then see how Regina manages to topple her.
And I can’t wait for Emma’s reaction the first time someone calls her “princess.”

If Belle doesn’t beat Bae to the punch. Love it, Dorothy!

ParticipantRayvah, the library’s in Texas (and dragon-free–Emma’s already cleaned it out for us).
Time is passing much too slowly. I gotta at least have some spoilers soon or I’ll do something desperate..like start writing Rumbelle fan fic.

ParticipantNow that Gold has a confidante, I wonder if the writers will make us privvy to his plans, by showing us his conversations with Belle. From the few minutes he had with the man he thought was Bae, it seems he is eager to have someone to confide in, and who’s a more trustworthy candidate than the woman who’s loved him for who-knows-how-many years.

ParticipantYeah, it’s got to be gone, gone with the purple wind. It was part of Regina’s bargain in exchange for info about the curse, so I’m sure Regina would toss it into the same trash bin with her bargain to Jefferson. Rumple never made any significant use of it, so I doubt if he’ll press the issue.
