Why did Mr Hyde have to die he was the best character this season. Heck he was the reason i was watching this season I mean it’s Sam Witwer…Darth Maul and Starkiller, he should have gone out in a lightsaber duel with Duel of Fates in the background XO
I hope Mr Hyde comes back in some way, heck bring back the Underworld and say he had unfinished business. It just felt away to easy for him to die, there was to much build up, I thought for sure he had a bigger agenda then just typical get Revenge on Rumple.
Here’s hoping Sam Witwer returns.
[adrotate group="5"]darkones1fanParticipantI am genuinely interested in this episode because Sam Witweir has been doing such a great job as Hyde. These photos are intriguing.
I have a MAN CRUSH on Sam Witwer. And seeing him look sad in those pictures i know he’ll pull off some emotion. Sam Witwer knows how to do rage and depression. Oh and insanity
darkones1fanParticipantAs long as i get the amazingness that is Sam Witwer interact with Dark One Rumple i will be a happy camper.
darkones1fanParticipant@runaroundmacy pointed this out the other night, but Sam Witweir’s Hyde voice sounds like Jean-Luc Picard from ST: TNG
Hmm…I guess i never thought that because once I heard it i kept hearing Maul (I’m a big Rebels/TCW fan) but now that you mention it…You kinda right. Picard and Maul mixed, at least for me.
darkones1fanParticipantHello people long time no see…Been a while i know. Show has well….lets just say this season may be my favorite so far just because of Mr.Hyde and i’ve dying to say this but…I wonder how many people here know that the actor who plays Hyde name is Sam Wiwter who in Star Wars circles does the voice of Starkiller in Force Unleashed the video game but also the Voice of Darth Maul in The Clone Wars tv series and Star Wars Rebels
So yeah. The Voice of Darth Maul is Mr Hyde

darkones1fanParticipantAnyone else feel like the show is going backwards—season wise at least? S5 (both A and B) had some serious S3A and B overtones and now S6A is set up like S2B. So is 6B going to look like 2A–maybe this time Charming and Emma get trapped in the EF and have to battle someone in order to get back home? There’s an awful lot of plot that got forsaken in 2 once NVL happened.
Strangely i see more Season 2 and 3 combined (Which is said since i liked the Neverland stuff) but the writers feel like they wanted to do the King Arthur stuff but then changed their minds last minute and do the underworld stuff next. Because I at least liked the Underworld stuff more than the Camelot stuff …at least in terms of the Season alone….Some of the Season now in terms of a “Overlasting Arc” (And i use the term very loosely) will feel more like filler in the long run, only to retroactively be tied into one another (Like how Cora got her end in Season 5 ) so if there is a FinalBattle between everyone and Rumple…again…it will feel retroactive and not part of a cohesive narrative.
darkones1fanParticipantMy question would be what defines dark magic? what makes magic dark? Is it a force that can be used for good AND evil like the internet and it all depends on the user, or is there an actual this magic is bad/this magic is good mentality going on?
I agree….Now as a fan of the Kingdom Hearts games and certain elements of Star Wars Expanded Universe, there have been many a tale that “Darkness” is not equate to “Evil” . Kingdom Hearts especially since it has characters who wield “Darkness” but aren’t Physchotic evil people bent on world domination. Even some in Star Wars have thought that studying both aspects of the force both Light and Dark has more meaning towards balance then just studying the light.
But that probably won’t happen hear.
Heck i’ll go even one further….in a lot of anime’s where there angles and demons…the angles are the bad guys and the demons are the good guys…go figure.
darkones1fanParticipantYes, I think Hades is probably the one who created the Dark Curse. When you boil it down to its basics, the Dark Curse takes away Happy Endings, the very thing that Emma restores. I think Hades and Emma are being set up to be opposites of each other (the enemy of life, the savior or life;) It would make sense for him to have created the Dark Curse that she was destined to break.
So it wasn’t Merlin? I forget didn’t someone re-con say a Soccer create it or again am i just hearing things…My ONCE canon (little though their may be) Is kinda lose even with the Retcons.
They better explain how Hades can relate to the Dark One if not by a connection (Though that may be possible) at least through who’s the oldest and more powerful of the two.
darkones1fanParticipantWhat! A six season…What could they could possibly do…unless we are going to Hunchback of Notre Dame (Which might be cool) I’m not sure…Aladdin we did with Wonderland unless you wanna retconn and resolve that but woulds seem weird…the Underworld seems like the quintessential place to go unless they just get the guts and make Rumple full on physcho evil they haven’t done yet I know they want to do.
Where could you go with this show by now. I’ll watch to see but i’m afraid they are running out of ideas unless they get new show runners.
March 7, 2016 at 12:15 am in reply to: FAVORITE AND LEAST FAVORITE MOMENTS IN 5×12 Souls of the Departed #318185darkones1fanParticipantFor the first time in a long time….I’m giving a 10/10 Rating. This was hands down the best Season 5 Episode for me….from beginning to end, and now a spark of hope has been lit that OUAT may just redeem themselves. To put it simply, I liked everything! Highlights: That Neal Scene!!!! AH! It was like both salt and medicine on the wound…I didn’t know whether to flip a table or hug my tv! Cora and Henry Sr.’s early and later bickering. Regina celebrating her birthday. Henry Sr. trying to talk some sense into Regina. The explanation of how Cora got Henry Sr. in the first place. Regina’s reunion with both Cora and Henry Sr. Rumple’s reunion with Peter Pan. Snow White meeting the Blind Witch who is oddly interesting. The Cruella De Vil Easter Egg. Henry Sr. telling Regina that he forgives her and that he would love her no matter what! Cora hugging Regina, and her attempt at giving sane motherly advice. Henry meeting Henry Sr., and his talk with Regina just before he crosses over! (This scene destroyed me!) The clock moving again. (Season 1 feels) And surprisingly, Hades being Hades…..this man is channeling him a lot better than I thought he would be able to do, so far he’s really great. Again best episode of Season 5 so far to me! Questions: Ok…these aren’t necessarily strong enough to be considered dislikes…but I just have to wonder. 1. If it only took Cora five seconds to snatch out Snow’s heart….why in the world did it take Regina years, and she still wasn’t able to do it? This is the biggest question! You had the magic mirror, you knew where she was at all times, why not just pop up, take the heart, and dip? Did Regina just secretly love the cat and mouse game she played with Snow or something?
If they wanted to go the deep physchological rout with the Queen vs Snow rivalry then yes, its common Villainy 101 to love the hunt more than the victory. But since i don’t trust the writers than my guess would be no.
