ParticipantI’ve never been one to devote myself to any headcannon. Even my beloved Chernabog theory is one that I just consider more of a running joke then anything serious. Even if I would love to see it happen. One thing I like to say to myself is “I AM NOT BETTER THEN THE WRITERS” (Sorry if I sound like I’m yelling I just want to emphasize a point which I fear can get missed by people)” We as fans will never know what it is like to work for a big creative enterprise which is obviously a collaborative effort between the writers, actors, directors and of course (and sometimes infamously) corporate. Although I know no one here thinks their better then the writers on the show this is more of a general thing for fans of any fandom that think that way. I am we are not trained professionals, even if we do write up cool stuff and create interesting ideas.
Now for a positive on headcannons, I saw headcannons are actually a good thing for they are a sign that the show is interesting and engaging, Why go into headcannons even now if we still didn’t love the show and the lore and mystic it still gives us even today. Granted being too invested in a headcannon is probably not the best for then your actual view of the show becomes disjoined and biased towards your own biases. But in the end as long a show is causing us to make headcannons it doing it’s job as the show is generating conversation.
So just case in point headcannons are fun and mean a show is engaging just don’t invest yourself in one for more then likely your just going to get upset.

ParticipantIt could be true, maybe the writers and sneaks peeks and press release are lying to us. What a twist it would be.

ParticipantI liked this episode it was a lot of fun, nothing really important happened until the end but sometimes I like a less angsty more slice of life story. gives the characters chance to breath and interact with their enviorments.
Fav moments
Hook
Regina teaching method. (I can just imagine the though process either Emma learns magic and unlocks great potential or she dies and Regina gets Henry all to herself. Win win!)
Snowing trying to be cool. Epic fail!
Plot Twist. Kind of saw it coming though. But the kiss thing oh my Hook in quite a pickle.
Belle holding down shop till Golds return
Dislikes
Hmm..Not much, I guess this episode was not as epic as the other ones were but then again like I said sometimes we need a filler every now and then.

ParticipantOh Interesting RG. Kalinda Vazquez reminds me of another writer named Merryweather Williams who had similar issues with her writing with a show I liked. Although she improved as time went on though so hears hopping.
Also agreed with you on A&E their stories are normally the plot advancement or as I like to call them the Important episodes. But hey their the big writers head hanchos.
Jane and I have a lot in common in writing because I too love writing Dialogue, story is little harder for me though.

ParticipantAh good thinking RG, here’s a list of folks in case you forgot.

ParticipantHmm…Well besides Rumple lets look at all the magic users of ONCE (The Main Ones +Jafar)
Cora like you said had the Spark of Magic
Regina and Zelena had the gift of magic.
Jafar his anger kept him alive after he was drowned to death.
Emma The Product of True Love
Henry (This one’s a stretch) Heart of the trust believe, not to mention who he is related too
So I guess we can say magic is only for those special, for the main magic uses of ONCE are all unique and have shown off special qualities as far as I can tell. I might have missed something .

ParticipantHmm perhaps a better word is Identity crisis…I think that’s something unique to Zelena…Let me ponder it some more.

ParticipantHmm…I’m not sure, it might be Rumple I mean think about it, she shaved him the same way she shaved her father back in Oz and Rumple not to mention Rumple gave Zelena the same advice her father back in Oz game to her…OMG RUMPEL MAY BE THE FATHER AFTER ALL! Or maybe I’m just looking to things to deeply.
Maybe it was Leo I don’t know.

ParticipantI liked this episode, it was better then last Sunday and I liked that episode since I didn’t care much about the ship or Neal. Anyway enough of my rants on shipping back to the episode.
I really enjoyed the backstory of Zelena. She definitely seems like someone with emotional anxiety and issues. She;s powerful but she like a fire…out of control and easily inflamed.
Rumple was awesome playing it funny and cool.
Regina kicks behind all the time.
and that;s all I can think off.
