Does anyone else get the feeling Rumpel would use magic to make the ball go wherever he wants it to :P

Yes and Regina would throw fireballs.

After doing some more thinking on the subject I have come to realize just how  selfless and fatherly Rumple was with his magic (At least in the early years) Then his father was.

Think about it hard. Malcolm/Pan (I think I’ll just say Pan) gave up his own son to be youthful and gain his power. Meaning everytime he used magic he was doing it for himself whether it was something really big like a long drawn out plan or something simple like eating some cake.

Rumple on the other hand from the moment he got his Dark One powers did everything he could to make Bae happy.  Heck the reason he got those powers was to protect Bae in the first place. Also as time went on even though Rumple became for monstrous with his powers towards others he never did towards Bae. Rumple always wanted to use his magic to make Bae happy heck he even wanted to build him a castle and give him a golden crown. (Rumples dad never did that for him). Even though Bae never wanted those things…But its the thought that counts!

So ergo Rumple despite becoming a bit crazy later,  was always was more noble with his powers towards his own son then Pan ever was towards Rumple. Because Rumple in the end really just wanted to use his magic to make Bae happy. (Even though the results didn’t work out)

It sounds more like its possibly a backstory between Jafar and the Sultun… I mean Jafar is the sultan son so perhaps it deals with them because the Sultun thought   Jafar might come from bad stock …. Family wise  . So that’s what I think.

Here is a fan Fiction that I like called Once Upon a Ring . A ONCE/ Lord of the Rings Crossover that is a alternate version of season 3… still in early stages as of this post. Written by author called Stelmariana. It is really good and recommended for both Once fans and fans of tolkein.

1.) We shall all rejoice as I said that purple eyed shadow impersonating Belle was NOT the shadow of Pan :) the eyes and body shape gave it away. 2.) I think this shadow is a benevolent being, belonging to no one. It is a host, perhaps overseer of the boys who visit in their dreams. He just keeps things in check. Of course, when Malcolm comes along and tries to throw things out of balance, he takes a 300 year plan in order to get him out of there. But this is one theory. 3.) It COULD be Chernabog. He could have been living on Bald Moubtain, in NL. Feeding off nightmares perhaps? He could have his own purpose in what he did with Pan

It;s all part of Chernabogs plan Watcher….This entire series is part of his plan.

All I have to say is this Peter Pan was not a man who became a powerful monster….He’s a monster who became powerful
