I don’t think PP is the ultimate puppet master for the reason that if he is behind everything, then the villain for next season will not be that big of a threat. I would like to see PP playing his part in the grand scheme of things. Also since we know that a little bit of everyone’s true selves remained in their cursed selves, could that be the reason why Gold chose Henry. He just had a feeling that this would be the boy to get, Rumple could see the future so maybe that ability played a part in choosing Henry.
I would like to see that as well, for the same reason. For me I want the Ultimate Evil to be some sort of Devil Creature who is original dark one who is trying to resurrect himself or something but now I’m just speculating here.
But if Rumpel and Pan are brothers there are a few things that would make the relationship interesting. I would like it of Rumpel were the younger wimpy Brother and Pan be the strong confident cocky brother. (Fits well with the character and that’s probably likely they’ll do that if they make these two brothers.) But it would be interesting if Pan went to Neverland first (With or Without Rumpel) and learned about the Dark One’s Powers when he was younger and had a desire to claim them (It is possible he learned about these powers from a even darker force, who’s manipulating things), while Rumpel didn’t (Only because it seems to indicate Rumpel knew nothing about the Dark One until he met him) This would allow Pan to Discover years later that his brother Rumpel (again speculating if they are brothers) was now the Dark One, causing Pan to be jealous because he was searching for those powers while Rumpel came across them through luck or chance (Or Destiny.) Causing Pan to go full revenge mode and Plan to take those powers for himself.
[adrotate group="5"]Anyone think that perhaps Rumpelstiltskin has been planning this final conflict with Pan for centuries. Perhaps at first him casting the curse was to find his son but as time went on as things happened, he started to remember Pan and reminded himself he had to prepare for his interference and foresaw a final confrontation between the two. It is quite possible that he foresaw himself gaining allies against Pan after the curse was cast who could aid him against Pan and that’s one reason he’s been manipulating all these people and events and getting people to a certain point. Now this theory only works depending on how much Rumpelstiltskin saw of the future (One problem is that he was genuinely surprised that Henry was his Grandson) . It could be possible that during much of his Dark One Career he’s just been avoiding Pan because Rumpels a coward, either that or he didn’t care. But I’ve always loved the idea of grand plans that have going on for hundreds of years just like the curse but when you plan for something for hundreds of years sometimes secondary goals emerge that might change the reason why you are doing what you are doing .
Pan could have been doing the same, Manipulating his own people to a certain point. I would put good money on the guess that Pan (Or his forces) not August was responsible for bringing Henry to Storybrooke, I also wouldn’t put it past him for Pan to be spying on Emma during her youth.
This is one reason why I wouldn’t mind making Pan and Rumpel brothers both trying to out do the other trying to see who’s the strongest
Um, I couldn’t tell but does Gold no longer has his limp, I didn’t see a cane with him. It would make sense for him to get rid of it considering there on a muddy Island and having a limp would give him a physical disadvantage.
I’ve got a theory of watching this video. Felix told Rumple that if he is looking the boy, then he will not survive. I wonder if the lost boys knew that Henry will be Rumple’s undoing. We know that Peter Pan and Rumple know each other and since Felix stated that Rumple won’t survive if he is looking for Henry, he could know that Henry is Rumple’s undoing. Either that or Felix is so confident that nobody stands a chance on getting Henry back.
It’s highly possible that Peter Pan knows Henry will be Rumpelstiltskin undoing because since Peter Pan new what Henry would look like hundreds of years before he was born so that must indicate Pan has either future seeing abilities or know’s someone with those abilities
Now that I’ve seen the video clip, I don’t think Rumple was a LB. I think his early connection with PP, was pure business when he was searching for Bea.
I agree I’ve always had the feeling that Pan and Rumpelstiltskin might have formed an alliance of convenience. My theory is that maybe this alliance happened when Bae was in neverland and the two had a falling out when Rumpelstiltskin discovered it.
I just want to add this point, does anyone think that Gold being in his classic Rumpelstiltskin outfit means that maybe he’ll slowly go full Dark One Rumpel on us as the season progresses?
Putting my money on Hook, since they both have been through a revenge arc and now there moving on with there lives. Hopefully.
Hey everyone, now this question is something that probably was discussed way earlier from a while back but since I am still kind of new to this forum I just had to ask and I though putting it here would be the appropriate spot. Well in my view. Okay here we go. In was re watching some season 1 Episodes for the heck of it and I noticed in the episode Desperate Souls something. Zoso appeared to Rumple and Bae as a normal elderly man no gold skin or creepy looking features whatsoever and then It made me wonder,can Rumple do the same thing.Has Rumple for all these years just been using a spell on himself to look normal and hide his a….” Rosy complexion” as he puts it.I ask because there is a lot of talk about having Gold change back to Rumple in Season 3 since their going to a different world, of course you know there’s the whole makeup time and stuff to and it would probably just be simpler to keep Gold, Gold but if they did go that rout that would be a interesting way of explaining it. Again sorry if this is old talk but again I’m still new here and don’t have the time to go over every forum to see if this has been previously discussed.
That’s what I would have like to see, I mean like in the Episode when Emma got home and she walks into Snow and Charming mating, she and Henry were going to make taco's I mean yes that’s not as exciting as a magic or sword duel but a nice peaceful moment with Emma and Henry making Taco's would have been nice, you know I nice breather. Also and this is a different matter that I brought up earlier, this season I felt was very “expansive” as I like to put it. Season 1 had a very clear cut story line, this one you could easily get lost (No pun intended) because of the many plot points happening especially by the end of the season. Imean first it's Cora and Hook, then It's Cora in SB and turning Regina evil then it's the Home Office as well as Regina then it's just the Home Office. That’s a lot to remember.
No, no I was talking about season 2 I felt things were going so fast especially during the second half when certain episodes time laps happened in less than a day even though from the audience perspective we had to wait a week.
