ParticipantI do not think we will see Wendy and Peter in a romantic relationship but that is a popular spin for off-shoots of Peter Pan. In the original it is very obvious Wendy sort of has a crush, as perhaps her mother before her did, and that he continues to come to her line through granddaughters to find a mother for his boys.
Maybe there’s something almost Oedipal in that, but Peter was looking for a mother, not a girlfriend, and he didn’t want to be touched or kiss, or to grow up be a man and get married.
What this incarnation wants, now there’s the puzzle. The way Wendy reacted upon returning home, I did not get the feeling she enjoyed NL in the least, but maybe she was sneakyWendy setting up Bae so she could please Peter.
I am so curious what we will learn and see with her again.
I hope you’re wrong with that, because for ONCE (pun intended) I want to see Peter end up with Wendy.
Barrie may not have intended a love relationship between Peter and Wendy, but nonetheless many people ship them together; heck, recent production have even touched that angle: Hook has Peter clearly heartbroken that Wendy has outaged him by a lot – he even marries her granddaughter as a next-best-thing thing – and in 2003’s Peter Pan the love he has for Wendy is very obvious, but faithful to the original he gives up on her so he can stay a perpetual immature youth. ONCE loves to do a different spin on the classic stories, so Peter/Wendy ending up together would be a rather nice touch.
Oh, and I hope Wendy was being truthful to Bae in Second Star to the Right. I find a Wendy strong enough to challenge Peter far more interesting than a brainless minion one doing a show for the sake of Peter’s charms.

ParticipantSurprised they spilled the beans about the Knave once being part of Robin Hood’s gang. I mean, we suspected it with the Knave’s name being Will and Robin slated to appear in the show, but seeing an almost admission that he’s Will Scarlett is… shocking.

ParticipantI suspect we’ll learn more about THO in our world. I really can’t believe they’d leave all that hanging. And they really need to give Tamara some sort of motivation for hating magic so much. Even if it’s not my theory about her being RH and Marian’s daughter, they gotta find a way to explain her hatred.
Greg and Tamara both dying in the premiere feel awfully like they got the Nikki and Paulo treatment: as characters that didn’t work, they were quickly killed so the writers could sweep their mistake under the rug and move on. I’m not sure they’ll be expanded upon ever again.

Yes, he does! 😮

ParticipantWe’d been thinking these characters would be Wendy’s brothers. They look like they could be her brothers IMO, and Freya was at the premiere party, so she’s probably there shooting right now.
Yup, hair colors match to me! 🙂

ParticipantThanks! Now I just need to hear that neither will Rumple be playing her role and I’ll be able to feel relieved. Ursula is such an amazing villain, it’d be a total waste to merge her character with an already established one.

Or Pan is able to plant audible and/or visual illusions into the minds of people. There HAS to be a reason for Belle to pop up out of nowhere in Neverland, after all.
I think Jennifer Morrison actually agrees with me on this one:
Well, I stand corrected then.

ParticipantI think if THO was created by someone other than PP, he just overtook the whole operation, as opposed to brainwashing a couple of agents. The name, The Home Office sounds like something from our world. Henry even has a line, “An office in the jungle?” I think if it had been something PP started up himself, it probably would have been called something different.
I think it’s simpler than that. I think PP eventually concluded that sending his shadow in and out of our world to bring him potentials for the boy he was looking for was getting him nowhere, so he tasked one or more people (Wendy? John? Michael?) with setting up a front for the job here. After all, having 100+ fools looking for Henry is far more effective than just his shadow.
