    Thanks for the scoop! 🙂

Emilie de Ravin, whose Belle remains in Storybrooke while her friends are in Neverland, may also be given a ticket to Wonderland. “I’m totally intrigued,” says de Ravin, who confirms she remains signed as a series regular to the original show. De Ravin just so happens to top the wish list of Sophie Lowe, who plays Wonderland’s Alice. “I love Beauty and the Beast so much I named my cat Belle,” Lowe says.

Ok, they’re now obliged to show that on my screen! Belle and Alice, two shy girls just waiting to show their inner bada**ery to us, can I just say awesome? I’m totally shipping Belle/Alice if it happens!

Of course, there will also be new characters. “I’ve heard rumors that we’re going to bring in another very famous male Disney villain who hasn’t yet been seen in the Once world,” says Peter Gadiot (Cyrus). “He’s not from Wonderland but shares a tie to my character.” Considering Cyrus is a genie, Gadiot must be talking about Aladdin baddie Jafar. Give that man a flying carpet!

    Jafar, huh? Can’t wait!

PP trying to age works really well with another theory that’s floating around, the “PP and all of Neverland is under a curse that keeps everyone from aging” theory. A curse which could’ve been cast by a certain fairy whom I’m fond of pointing to as the Mastermind…

Hell will definitely freeze the day this forum stops accusing the Blue Fairy of being the ultimate evil… 😆 😆 😆

The only thing with making PP some sort of god is how do you follow that? If the characters face a god this season, what antagonist are they going to face that can match that next season?

I guess that depend how powerful a god can be in OUAT and maybe people just believe that he is a god.

The problem here is escalation. We’re already facing that with Rumple becoming more and more an anti-hero, forcing any future villain that Henry’s family will have to face to necessarily have his power level at the very least (Cora, Peter Pan) or the writers to find convoluted ways to prevent him from taking part of the action (Greg, Tamara), so having Peter be a god will only heighten it no matter how powerful a god would be in OUAT, as a god is a god and by definition we shouldn’t expect all that many villans to be threats comparable to them.

If anything, what really should be done is not to upgrade Peter’s power level even more, but downgrade Rumple’s. He needs to lose his immortality and near invincibility at the very least, hopefully that’s what his ‘undoing’ is all about.

Peter Pan’s doppelganger (his shadow self) [identical looking to an ancestor]

Unlikely, since A & E have already said they’ll be casting a new male actor for the role.

OR maybe its just me obsessing with The Vampire Diaries, but think about it.

The moment I read “shadow self” I knew you were a Vampire Diaries fan! 😆

But honestly, after the Silas/Stefan reveal of that show, I’d think that even if that was A & E’s original intention they’d take the season hiatus time to change it, as it’d now be unoriginal.

I thought I read somewhere that the whole idea for Once Wonderland was to not have a series that would go on for a years, but rather, would be a contained story for a season only, in the way that American Horror Story was a contained story for the first season, and an entirely new season /cast (reusing only one actress I think). Did they abandon that concept?

Good question. That was said when the plan was seemingly to air it as a mini-series during ONCE’s extended winter hiatus, but now that it has its own timeslot in ABC’s schedule who knows?

Especially if the series turns out to be successful enough to warrant a second season. Would ABC really risk changing completely a formula that worked?

I’m going to eagerly watch the show, but part of me wishes they’d have started with Oz or another land to do the spinoff and waited until they could nail down Sebastian Stan for the Mad Hatter.

The thing is, not only we don’t know if Sebastian would want to play a regular role in a TV series currently, but he also isn’t likely to be completely free to do OUAT or OUATinWL for the next few years. His contract with Marvel is for six (!) movies and Captain America 2 is only the 2nd in that list; we can expect an appearance in Captain America 3, but for which ones else does Marvel needs him? Avengers 2? A Winter Soldier solo movie? Or that number is just to secure him for as many films as they want? We don’t know.

As far as which tale to use for the spin-off, not only they’d already introduced Wonderland in the parent show but it’s also likely the one out of the three that provides us “lands” that are (mostly) in public domain which has the largest number of iconic characters.

My headcannon of Alice and Jefferson is really throwing me off and I have to realign my thinking. I don’t like doing that. 😆

And it doesn’t help that the Alice they cast looks so much like Grace, huh? 🙂

What if the theory about Neal and Belle working together comes true and Belle tells Neal about the prophecy? Neal will realize that his father is willing to die for Henry!

The problem is that to explain the prophecy Belle’d necessarily have to tell or inadvertently suggest that Rumple for the longest time was considering killing Henry and, regardless of Rumple’s current stance of accepting his demise if it means Henry lives, Neal wouldn’t take that very well. Also, the prophecy is one of those things that isn’t for her to tell, but Rumple himself, so I don’t think Belle would tell Neal about it.

Of course, there can always be more people who know about it somehow that we’re not aware of (yet). I can see a bit of family drama arising the moment the prophecy becomes common knowledge, so who knows if it’ll remain a secret shared only by Rumple and Belle?
