So the first scene in the ep is that one in Granny’s from the promo. Cryus pops up. They have a shot of the Wraith to establish timeline. Then we go back to get stuck into Alice and Cyrus’ story, beginning with her in the asylum.
Interesting thought. I was expecting a present day Cyrus to be seen only by mid-season at best, since the initial premise seems to be Alice’s search for him, but that could be as well.

I can see them having temporary alliances over common interests, but really, when have big villains in this show made more permanent ones? Regina/Rumple were always more akin to frenemies, Cora/Hook ended the moment she thought he’d nailed the location of the dagger and Cora/Regina were mother and daughter, and even so they still clashed a few times in the past.
As far as names go, I’d say we need a name for more than just her. The White Rabbit and the Knave of Hearts could use it, too. 🙂

Oh, I’m not making this a huge deal either. I was just surprised, since I wasn’t expecting it.
Maybe the new software will have a better filter component, who knows?

They did, but it’s been so long without that being addressed that it’s easy to lose hope. Same thing happened with Maleficent, and in the end when she was really brought back it was to confirm her status as dead. 😐

Incidentally, if this is a word qualifiable for moderation, shouldn’t it be part of that list that automatically replaces it with the text “*** please avoid obscenities ***” (or something along those lines)? 😕

It’s my belief that, while bringing main characters from OUAT often does risk them overshadowing the spin-off’s own regular cast, the same isn’t necessarily true with the parent show’s secondary ones. Ignoring actor/actress availability, characters like Grumpy, Red, August (if he wasn’t so stupidly transformed into a 7-year-old boy again), Philip, Aurora, Mulan and Robin Hood are, or have the potential to be, dense enough to play an interesting part in an arc of OUATinWL, giving us that sense of a shared universe without the risk of overshadowing Alice and her cast. The same is valid for potential spin-off’s secondary characters guest starring on OUAT.

Keep in mind that the pilot episode isn’t complete yet, only 19 minutes out of about 42 have actually been shot. I agree that it seems ridiculous to book a busy guy like Seb for shooting the pilot of a speculative spin-off, but now that it has been picked up they can try to get him for the remaining scenes to be shot.
