Interesting! I wonder if it picks up right after the CharmingStiltskins leave on the JR?
I’m really curious to see where the show’ll fit in the timeline and continuity. Nagging questions I have that I still haven’t found an answer:
– Alice is supposedly locked up in mental instituiton in Victorian England. Is that meant to be the real Victorian England – meaning she’s from the 19th century – or the Victorian England of her story?
– What are they doing in Storybrooke?
– Michael Socha’s character is named Knave of Hearts. What does this mean to Paul McGillion’s Knave of Hearts? Is he a recast? A different character? A younger version of Paul’s character? Alice said she once returned his heart in the trailer, this has to be a Cora connection.

Just went to look up when the casting call for Neal (aka Jack) came out, but the report for that on SpoilerTV was posted on July 20th, which doesn’t help at all. How late did they start filming season 2 if that casting call was only doing the rounds in late July?
Anyway, yes, I imagine it’d be possible that they’d be on the hunt for an Ariel now if they start filming mid-July and she’ll be early on in the season, which, given the mermaid anvils in the last 2 eps, is probably a reasonably safe bet.
I’d look more for the time Mulan and Aurora’s casting calls came, since they were the first to be cast for season 2. 🙂

ParticipantThe same way they did during the curse: they pop out of nowhere! 😆

I think overall we won’t see MAP much at all, especially because of scheduling conflicts but at the same time they were definitely shown with Neal so…we have to see them at some point right??
Yes, you’d think that they’ll have to show MAP with Nealfire in at least one ep, even if it’s just them all sitting around a campfire on the beach (was there a campfire in the BTS photos, or am I imagining things?), with Nealfire recovering from his wounds and MAP telling the story of how they brought Phillip back and how hard it is to find a portal out of town these days as demonstrated by Emma and Snow’s attempts, so Nealfire’s stuck there.
I don’t think it’ll be that hard to feature MAP with Neal for a few episodes anymore. Sarah Bolger and Jamie Chung’s new shows are both mid-season pickups, so supposedly there’s room in their schedules for early season 3.

YAY! Figured he’d get promoted, so it’s good to have it confirmed. 😀
There’s still so much Nealfire story to be told. He’s still gotta sort stuff out with his father, he’s still gotta get to know his son, we’ve still gotta see his adult self interacting with Hook, and I’d sorta love it if he ended up back in NL to face off against Pan. And then there’s all the SwanFire stuff that needs to be hashed out too. Considering all of that, how could they not make him a regular?
Don’t forget he still has to meet the real Belle. 🙂

I don’t know if Rumple drew the picture, but I’m just going by – so far there are only two ppl (at that time) who knew of ‘a boy that would be the Dark One’s undoing’ 1. Rumple 2. The seer – and she’s dead.
I don’t remember them alluding to anyone one else that had the ability to see the future, so, I can’t think of anyone else who would know about the prophecy, let alone what a boy from 300 years in the future would look like.
The only other one that comes to mind would be Blue, but they never alluded to her having ‘seer’ abilities.Maybe that’ll be Tink’s function? Rumple seems to respect Peter as a dangerous adversary so much I suspect he can do more than just fly and swordfight, maybe even being a sorcerer as powerful as the Dark One. In that scenario, they’d have to give Tink another role. *shrug*

I didn’t get the impression that they wanted to kill Henry, that’s why I agree that Peter might want to find out why this particluar boy was so important to The Dark One.
Well, Felix hinted at that when he said to Bae that he’ll get to live when he found out he wasn’t his future son.

Thank you for that! It’s been bothering me a lot. So..no Cora at all then. Because she would have been in FTL by that point. Interesting.
Not in present day Wonderland, at least. Flashbacks are another thing entirely.

No, I don’t think Rumple would share the info that the boy in the pic was his undoing. He wouldn’t necessarily have had to divulge that info to make a deal to find him, though.
And, I don’t think The Dark One would be intimidated by a powerful advesary. He doesn’t seem like he’s afraid of very much.
I think he’d make a deal with anyone or anything if it got him what he wanted – enemy or no enemy.I see, you’re banking on Rumple being the one to draw the picture. Still not sure about that, though. If Rumple considers Peter someone to be feared, Peter’s sure to see a potential adversary in him. Peter would want to discretly find out more about why this boy interests the Dark One so much and he’d want to keep Henry as a triumph card, not kill him as suggested by Felix.

ParticipantI don’t think Rumple would do that kind of deal with Peter Pan. Peter was already this powerful, intimidating figure who controls an army only six or so months after he became the Dark One; Rumple’s certain to recognize an enemy of him the moment their eyes meet, and would you really share that kind of information to an enemy?
