Yes and *forgive the Swanfire shipper here* but if he’s a child of true love….that’s gotta be important too.
As a fellow Swanfire shipper, I’ll agree with you! 😉

ParticipantI guess we must kudos Gypsy for somewhat nailing what links Tamara to Greg. It’s not much a stretch to go from Little Orphan Annie and orphanage to the Lost Boys, after all.
BTW, are they even going to be called Lost Boys if Tamara is part of their ranks? 😆

Not sure about my favorite moment but my LEAST favorite is Belle being left behind. Seriously? SERIOUSLY? So not happy about this.
What was the reason again? I didn’t get it very well, just that it was about her following some instructions.

ParticipantI hope they keep ONCE’s ever-changing title cards in the spin-off, static ones shows like Vampire Diaries uses are so boring.

ParticipantSide question: do we really need spoiler tags in the spoiler forum for the last episode of the season? Could be just me, but I think the sneak peeks brought more spoilers that I didn’t want to see than that particular one from Vancity. Oh, well!

Yes that will be the cliffhanger and the first two or three episodes will be finding Henry and rescuing him from GOAT
I honestly hope not. After what Tamara did to Neal, I need a sense of closure for the evil duo. I'd vastly prefer to see Tamara die, but I guess I can accept – grungingly – both of them being subdued.

Really surprised they sent this one out, but another peek from a peek!
Honestly, they’ve already spoiled so much with the peeks that I’m hoping we don’t get any new, impactful spoiler tweets that we haven’t already seen. I never thought I’d care how much spoiled I get to be before an episode, but the Gold/David/MM and the Emma/Regina sneak peeks were just so emotional I wish they’d left them for us to see first hand in the episode.

Then there’s also the question of our own bias about what we perceive in the first place. So if someone simply types out something trying to be factual (such as, Neal left Emma and she went to jail for his crime or Hook shot Belle and she lost all her memories) fans of that character might start to feel the character is being maligned in some way, even if no judgement is really being implied there.
Yes. The best example of this in ONCE is likely “Neal left Emma because he wanted to avoid Rumple”, which is total fan interpretation that has no basis on what is presented to us both in the show and in Adam and Eddy’s comments about Neal’s motivations. 🙄

I also think there are some people who look at what Neal did and blend it into their own experiences or stories about deadbeat boyfriends/husbands. There was some ambiguity about how he came to leave Emma and how she got to jail in terms of what was shown (putting aside comments from A&E and the actors). Also how he handled Tamara once he encountered Emma again.
There’s also the disconnect some people felt between how they idealized Baelfire would be as an adult and how he actually turned out to be, partially for the reasons you mentioned abouve. And then there’s that rival ship bias: no matter how much the show innocents Neal of what some Captain Swan shippers perceive as “crimes” against Emma they’ll never accept that and still see him as a low life. 🙂

There may have been more, according to this Tweet that Neal did not set Emma up for jail from Adam. He says that, then in response to the fan saying basically well if he didn’t how did she end up there, he says “great question. We haven’t shown that yet, but he didn’t call the cops. He just did what august said — leave her to be savior”
Sounds like there is more they might show on that, though I feel it is back tracking in a way for the story. Unless there is some crazy conspiracy link thing going on–like, the Home Office was involved somehow–but how! I can’t even get my head around a crack theory to connect it right now.Back when Tallahasse aired, I felt the Neal/August scene switched rather abruptly to the Emma getting arrested one in a very telling moment, when August was about to tell Neal everything about the Curse and Emma’s role in it. At the time, I thought it was because during the explanation August would mention Rumplestiltskin’s name and Neal would let the cat out of the bag and reveal to him that he was Rumple’s son – I was sure the contents of the box was going to be something that would let even the most incredulous outsider believe in magic, it never crossed my mind that it’d reveal that August knew Neal was Bae. Now that we know Neal did not call the cops, though, there’s a chance that the Neal/August scene will be expanded later, showing what happened between its end and Emma getting arrested. Who knows?
