DemiletoParticipant
Am I the only one surprised that Matt Kane will be John and James Immekus, Michael (or so we think)? I thought for sure it’d be the other way around, as the pictures we got from them off the internet had Matt blond and James dark haired.
[adrotate group="5"]DemiletoParticipantPP asked Rumple, “Have you forgiven your father?” not family. If that’s the case, then I wager that PP is not Rumple’s daddy (complicated age issues aside), because that would be odd for PP to speak of himself in the third person.
Not necessarily. From Neverpedia’s article of Peter Pan (http://neverpedia.com/pan/Peter_Pan):
One other thing sort of dark thing that always stood out for him is where Barrie mentions that for Peter, unlike with other children, the notion that the world isn’t a fair place never sinks in. So every time he experiences something dishonorable, it hurts just as much as the first time – like when he goes to help up Hook on the cliff, who slashes him. The Schock, he will always forget and never learn and remember.
Also from the article, further down:
In Peter and Wendy it is explained that Peter must forget his own adventures and what he learns about the world in order to stay child-like.
My point? It’s classic Pan to forget all life experiences that’d otherwise bring character growth to him. The knowledge that he’s Rumple’s father, thus, may have simply been repressed from Peter’s memories when he was de-aged into a teenager.
DemiletoParticipantI liked the crack idea that PP is Rumple’s father, but something makes me think he and Rumple knew each other as boys.
Their interactions do feel like Peter was Rumple’s bully in high school, agreed. I prefer the idea of Peter being Rumple’s daddy, though. 🙂
DemiletoParticipantI don’t think so. I think PP is all powerful BECAUSE he’s in Neverland. Take him out of Neverland and he’d just be a “smug teenager” as Regina calls him.
He has already been out of Neverland: he went to the Enchanted Forest to get his Lost Boys. He used magic to attract the boys to him and he certainly used it to get them all to Neverland, so yeah, I disagree with the premise that Peter will be powerless in Storybrooke.
Notice also that it didn’t bother him too much spending a few days in the Enchanted Forest. I doubt merely getting Peter to Storybrooke will drive him crazy as he’ll just need to get to fly to the second star to the right and straight on till morning to reach Neverland again. Something else would be needed for that, like Neverland losing its magic.
DemiletoParticipantWhen Rumple said a “fate worse than death”, I was thinking about the wraith medallion, since the wraith is still a loose end storywise (How did Philip get his soul back) but then I thought Aurora has that so that couldn’t possibly be it. But dragging PP to Storybrooke where he’s powerless and would age would be a fate worse than death for PP.
Slight correction: Storybrooke has magic, so Peter would be very much magic empowered there.
DemiletoParticipantSo whatever Rumple has in Storybrooke will allow him to capture Peter and bring him to Storybrooke where he’ll age as normal children do.
What if PP ages into an old man, who could also be Rumple’s father? It’s a completely nutty, far-fetched theory, but hey, it’s cracktastic!
Oh, I don’t agree, I actually like that theory a lot and think you may be on the right track. I even got a headcanon for that:
Peter was your typical irresponsible teenager, but was forced into responsibility when he found out he had impregnated a girl. The girl, Rumple’s mother, died in childbirth, leaving him to take care of Rumple by himself. It was too much for him and one day he couldn’t take it anymore: he got himself to be reverted, physically and mentally, to his teenage self to forever live the daredevil’s life that was abruptly taken from him by Rumple’s conception. He forgets being Rumple’s father, but Rumple doesn’t and resents his dad’s decision to this day.
DemiletoParticipant“You’re not gonna die at anyone’s hands but my own.”
Regina could’ve stopped at “you’re not gonna die”, but she just had to lay a claim to the right of killing Rumple! LOL!
DemiletoParticipantOnly thing is, the press release for 306 doesn’t list Freya, which means Neal’s not conversing with Wendy in 306, though we dunno yet how much if at all Neal’s gonna be in the ep. All we know is that Emma, Snow, Charming and Hook are gonna try to save him, which doesn’t necessarily guarantee that we’ll get to see him.
Well, there’s at least one case where a press release didn’t mention noteworthy guests, likely in an attempt to keep their appearance a surprise: “And Straight On Till Morning” with Sarah Bolger and Julian Morris as Aurora and Philip. This could be the case too.

BTW, I doubt Wendy as a prisoner would be anyone other than Freya Tingley, it’d be a “huh?” moment for the audience to see an unknown face in that cage.
PS: How is everyone using spoiler tags? I can’t find a button and my attempts to cut and past how it’s being done in other posts are failing miserably. 🙁
DemiletoParticipantAnd I must say this synopsis is highly detailed and spoilerly. Most of the time, the press releases for both Once and Wonderland are somewhat brief.
I think it comes across like that because they have been releasing Wonderland’s PRs for the second next episode, while Once’s been strictly for the next one.
DemiletoParticipantSo, given the synopsys and the guest cast, I’m gonna take a guess and say our Old Prisoner is the King.
