The medallion is actually still in FTL. The Wraith took it with him.
I know that and I stated it in the post. Doesn’t mean it won’t reach their hands by the end of the season. 🙂
[adrotate group="5"]DemiletoParticipantI’m half expecting Rumple to pay a big price for his questionable actions and manipulations by the end of the season. He’s always getting away completely unscathed from them, even when I expected him not to, like last episode (I was banking on him losing his dark powers). It feels almost like the producers are waiting for the right moment for this, like how Henry put Emma on a pedestral that Regina could never live up to no matter how much she tried, only to crush it when the time came to reveal that Emma lied to him about his father.
And not just any price. I think it’ll be a major betrayal coming from the one person capable of causing him the greatest heartbreak: Baelfire. From what I’ve seen so far, the show seems to be laying the groundwork for Rumple and Bae to rebuild their relationship, this can only mean they’re planning to crush it just as it comes close to be mended. Milah’s death, the threat over Henry, reasons for Bae to turn against Rumple are plenty. The dagger would never be used to kill Rumple because the killer becomes the new Dark One and we’ve already had a storyline where the wrong hands got a hold of it, so Rumple will probably hid it again well enough. Bae might not need the dagger, though, if he happens to come across the medallion of doom that’s lost somewhere in FTL. Having his soul be marked for damnation by his own son would definitely crush Rumple, give him a fate as ironic as Cora’s and close the season on a ‘full circle’ note. The season did, after all, start with Rumple summoning the wraith.
Rumple wouldn’t remain soulless for long. They aren’t giving the storyline of rescuing Philip’s sould to secondary characters Mulan and Aurora for no reason.
Of course, a theory as detailed as this probably mean I’m wrong! 😆

Well, we know Regina can crush hearts in a magicless town, as evidenced by the Sheriff Who Shall Not Be Named. But the boy is so young, what did Regina do after she killed his father? She can’t just put him on a bus to Boston. And no one else can leave SB except her, so unless she left and took him to a orphanage, I think both Ben and “Owen” got out.
Yeah, I know she can, but can she rip hearts out of the body in a magicless town? That’s what I wonder.
DemiletoParticipantI think it’s more likely that Greg Mendell’s an alias Owen Flynn’s using. Greg’s certainly playing bad Mulder with Storybrooke, I doubt he’d be using his real name as people might remember him from back then.
I bet he lost his father in Storybrooke in mysterious ways (AKA Regina crushed his heart, don’t ask me how that would happen in a magicless town, I have no idea) and he’s been trying to go back find out the truth ever since.
ETA: as far as the dynamite goes, I think the better question would be: what happened to the security procedures that comes with dealing with explosives? Any 11-year-old can grab them? Should we expect to see Henry wielding a submachine gun next? 🙄 😆
DemiletoParticipantThis picture features the little boy. He definitely resembles Greg Mendell there.

Any other MRJ/Bae fans disappointed that we didn’t get a “WHO ARE YOU?” moment when Cora and Regina entered the Pawn Shop – directed at Bae. I realize there were a lot of things going down – but no heistation of ‘Oh, you’re not one of our normal enemies…why are you here..?”
I’m not sure if I’d rather he had introduced himself as Rumpel’s son or Henry’s father – or both! But I expected some type of exchange. Guess I’ll have to wait for Regina to learn about Henry’s dad – or do you think that was in phone conversation she and Cora had tapped? 😆
Oh, I totally was. I now fear they’ll sweep the formal Neal/Regina introduction under the carpet and have she learn of him offscreen. 🙁 I’ll be so bummed if that happens!
DemiletoParticipantHas any magic user other than Rumplestiltskin ever turned someone into a bug or rose, though? I recall only him doing such a thing, maybe that’s a Dark One exclusive power.
DemiletoParticipantThat’s season 1’s “A Land Without Magic” title card, it’s meant to represent the Dark Curse. They use it as a placeholder title card on promos and sneak peaks nowadays.
DemiletoParticipantWow, just wow! Even after having guessed the context the Rumbelle scene would happen it still surpassed my expectations! Really beautiful the emotional exchange between Rumple and Belle, and, as if it wasn’t enough, Neal witnessed it all! Really hope this’ll lead to another emotional exchange, this time between father and son! 🙂

I love how in the 3rd one ruby is just randomly there to help with rumple. That will probably be her only significance in the episode
Oh, I don’t know. I can see Ruby’s being tasked with finding Cora’s heart with her wolfy smell. They certainly can’t go looking for it while fighting Regina and Cora.
