Pied Piper! We were right about them combining the two!
What I’m finding curious is that it seems, by the synopsys, that it’s a flashback to a moment prior to Bae falling through the portal. Dylan Schmid’s looks aside (because it’s going to mesh SOOOOO well a flashback of Bae shot with 15-year-old Dylan that happens before the characters’s very first appearance shot with 13-year-old Dylan!), how long has Peter Pan been watching Rumple’s bloodline?

How did we not know this?!
They’ve been so amazing at keeping the storyline a secret this season that it doesn’t surprise me. Who could imagine, after all, that Neal would arrive in Neverland to join the effort to save Henry this early in the season?

ParticipantAll I can think of it at the moment is that perhaps we’ll see that Rumple was doomed/cursed/marked somehow from a young age, so there was actually something dark lurking inside him even before he was the Dark One? Most of us figure that his doll being in NL means he was in NL as a child, so perhaps something happened to alter him while he was there?
I’ve been toying with that possibility ever since we learned that Rumple’s father would be featured in 3×11. I mean, why else would he be in the episode that closes the Neverland chapter if his role wasn’t critical to the story?

ParticipantBlue’s name isn’t Blue!
Noticed that too. It’s the obvious conclusion after Blue calls Tink “Green” twice until Tink protests that her name’s “Tinker Bell”.

Always.

ParticipantI claim Rumple and Neal spear throwing as my avatar. Nobody else has claim. I will have RG abuse her fairy powers if someone steals it from me.
But what will you do if RG herself does the steal? 😀

ParticipantWasn’t it around the time of the writing of this episode that Jane tweeted about an amazing idea they just had that fitted so well into the timeline?

I think part of ABC’s logic in putting it in this slot was to see how big a dent a show with a already established base (the Oncers) plus some new viewers could put in that juggernaut. The problem is that it was never ever going to make any significant dent in TBBT. I think we’ll most likely see a big leap in DVR’s and next day ratings and have really mediocre live views.
Yeah, my hope is that DVR numbers will be high enough for them to try moving to another slot.

ParticipantI don’t think the appearance of Emma’s bug necessarily means it’s during Broken, just that it’s during a time when Emma’s in town. That’s Broken, The Cricket Game through In The Name of The Brother and Welcome to Storybrooke through And Straight On Till Morning.

ParticipantRatings are very slowly coming in.
In series-premiere news, fantasy drama “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland” on ABC opened with an anemic 3.6/ 6 in the overnights at 8 p.m. Comparably, that finished a distant third in the hour and 23 percent below failed year-ago time period drama “Last Resort” (4.7/ 7 on 10/11/12).
http://www.spoilertv.com/2013/10/ratings-news-11th-october-2013.html More as we get it. Remember to tell yourself that we don’t know what ABC expected/wanted for ratings. This is known as the “death slot” so it was never going to be easy.

Hope they move the show to another slot before they choose to axe it.

ParticipantIs Wonderland still meant to be right after Broken? I’m not so sure about that. The original 20 min presentation very clearly began during that, but not the aired episode. Personally, I’d rather believe it beings right before “Second Star to the Right”, if only because it keeps the show’s timeline more synchronized with the parent one.
